“Driving by, you might think this is a cheesy place with a couple snakes. It actually is a fairly extensive garden with all sorts of reptiles, with interesting exhibits and shows. Definitely worth spending 2-3 hours during your Edisto visit.”

“Its a great place to kayak and/paddleboard. There is plenty to see since there are many routes that you can take once you are in the water. There are many bars and restaurants overlooking Shem Creek that are a must to check out! Also, don't forget to check out the paddle board and kayak rental places right on the water. One of the best features that I personally love is that when I decide to go out kayaking or paddle boarding during the summer dolphins will come up right next to me as I am kayaking or paddle boarding to my destination. It is an amazing experience, for sure! ”
