No, it's not an indoor skiing slope, it's a must-see. Take a free tour, take the elevator up, and see Riga from above. The perfect panoramic view of the Old town and all its surroundings.

The new library building houses a modern information centre and ample space for cultural and social events, offering one and all multi-themed reading rooms and access to rare books and audio/video recordings besides the usual printed matter.

I recommend that you visit this place to see the adorable architectural execution made by Gunar Birkert. The view, seen from 12 floors, is breathtaking to Daugava and the Old Town. You will be able to add more than Laviya Dina's cabinet, which has a very high historical value in Latvia's cultural heritage. You'll finally be able to dine at the 'Klīversala''.
