Why locals recommend it
This place is the best! There’s nothing better than watching a movie and drinking a beer—or tea!—and getting food brought right to your seat. It’s such a cool concept. Their menu includes hot and iced tea, including about five or six of our Leaves and Flowers teas. Try the Rosella Mint iced tea. It’s tart, sweet, and refreshing. Alamo brews big batches of it, chills it, and kegs it. It’s cool to see people doing different things with our tea.
Tips from locals
Art Deco masterpiece that was recently renovated. You can watch a movie while sipping on a beer or wine and order dinner to your seat.
Movie theater that shows Hollywood new releases and Indie films. Serves dinner and drinks while you watch in a restored 1950s theater!
Our favorite date night spot. It's a movie theater where you can order food and drinks and eat right from your seat. There's a dimly-lit velvety bar in the theater for a drink before or after. Comfortable seats. Must order the kimchi OR truffle popcorn!

“When the weather is nice, you can barely see the grass due to the throngs of people lounging around. Luckily, the park was recently renovated and is big enough that you're bound to find a spot you like. The southwest corner is good for a panoramic view of the city skyline (and usually far enough away from the folks enjoying their herbal refreshments on the northern slope). There's also a nice kid's playground, although it's geared more towards older kids.”

“I like everything about this bar restaurant. The drinks are supreme, they have a cocktail with absinthe that I love. Moreover, they have really good food, for veg heads, too, which can be somewhat of a rarity in the Mission. Of course, it depends on who you ask!! Definitely go to the Evil Eye--its a little posh, but tons of fun.”
