Cais das Colunas is one of Lisbon's most visited sights. This beautiful quay right in front of Terreiro do Paço is the ideal place to enjoy a drink while watching the sun set. Its view of the river and the south margin is unparallelled and worth admiring. It was also through here that prominent political figures first set foot in Lisbon, such as HM Queen Elizabeth II.
