I recommend to go by sunset time frame on a sunny day. You will get the best pictures out of it.

They started building it on March 17, 1930. They finished it on April 11, 1931. Think about that. Less than 13 months. At the very least walk in. Also, pay attention. It's not a square, it's a rectangle if you look closely!
