Recently refurbished, the decor will only suit some tastes (it is, in a word, louche) but the wine selection is very good and there's a spa, if you feel that way inclined.

Glasgow's finest hotel. Expensive to dine, but lovely to pop in for cocktails or afternoon tea. Amazing steaks. Amazing everything really..
