More rural than its sister island, Malta, Gozo has a population of 31,000. Home to some of the oldest religious structures in the world, the fascinating Ggantija temples, the island offers dramatic orange-red sands and perfect snorkeling waters at striking Ramla Bay.

Qala is a quaint relaxing village where one gets a flavour of the local Gozitan life. At the same time, the location is quite central to all amenities and sightseeing. It is also nice to spend a leisurely evening without the need to catch a bus or the car.

“If you want to spend the day in a beautiful blue lagoon, this is the place to go. You must buy a cocktail inside a pineapple and take a picture with it. It's kind of a tradition! 😁 If you like hiking or camping is also a great choice ”

“Just about 9km from Valletta, the capital of Malta, will take you to St. Julian’s and Paceville – the place where life happens after 10 pm. Possibly the busiest place on the whole island and as well where most tourist flocks their way in for some fun.”
