Join a street art expert for a walk through the district, discovering some of its most original works. • Meet up at Newtown Station, where I’ll start by sharing the history of the area and the evolution of murals, from illegal to internationally recognised. • I’ll guide you through hidden alleys to the 19th-century Newtown Courthouse, featured in the Coldplay music video for “A Sky Full of Stars.” • Visit some of the most iconic murals in Newtown, where I’ll share the stories behind the art. You’ll have a chance to pop into a bakery for a lamington or grab a drink at a hidden laneway bar. (The cost of refreshments is not included.) You’ll leave having visited colourful corners of Newtown that no guidebook will ever mention, and with an insider’s perspective on this area’s vibrant art scene.

Sketching is a wonderful way to capture the essence of what you see in your travels. I have recorded my travels in sketchbooks for over 30 years, and I'd love to teach you how to do the same. Artists of all levels of experience, including beginners, are welcome! • We'll meet at Hickson Road Reserve Park, and I'll hand out sketch paper and pencils. • I'll teach you some essential drawing techniques, and then we'll begin sketching! I’ll assist with tips and guidance as you create your Sydney travel sketch. • You'll have a great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the ferries, and the Opera House. We'll walk to a second viewing spot in order to capture final touches. You'll gain new drawing skills and confidence, and take home a sketch as a memento of your time in Sydney.

After picking you up from Sydney in our mini bus, we drive to my hometown of Glenbrook to grab a coffee together at a cool local cafe. Before heading into the local National Park for amazing lookouts. We will take you on a moderate/hard 90min bushwalk via some amazing view points, small waterfalls to the base of a big waterfall in Jamison Valley. The hardest part is optional to skip. We provide a fresh picnic lunch (refer to picture) where we all connect. After lunch we check out the Three Sister Rock formations and many other beautiful stops too. It’s an authentic, small-group experience with a knowledgeable local guide - giving you an up-close-and-personal glimpse of Sydney’s coolest spots. If you’ve never driven a boat before - don’t panic. The speedboat is safe and easy to operate and I’ll be right there to help you! No experience or licence is required. This two hour self-drive boat tour is perfect if you are short on time. Blue Mountains Hike up the Three Sisters

Harbour Kayak Adventure

Come enjoy a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbour. No engine noise or fumes, just the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above! We'll experience the built environs and get up close and personal with many of the harbour's natural wonders and marine inhabitants. We'll paddle to the center of the harbour where we'll get some photos of you framed by the Harbour Bridge (I'm a professional photographer in my other job so expect good pics - no charge of course!) We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is arranged for you and included as part of the tour. After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Market a short walk away. There are also lot's of excellent lunch options minutes away on the famous Glebe Point Road or treat yourself to something really special at the Tramsheds. Our boatshed is easy to get to with plenty of free street parking nearby. We're the only kayak tour run by qualified kayakers that use REAL sea kayaks and top notch carbon fibre paddles.
