The adventure will start from the beach and you will participate in a relaxing tour of the coast of Taormina. Led by one or more local guides, you will visit all the most important bays and caves. During the tour we will stop in one of the best bays to swim and see the beautiful seabed, thanks to our Snorkeling equipment. All accompanied by a pleasant tasting of typical Sicilian wines. We will visit unique and historical places, such as the famous “Isola Bella” and we will also enter in some cave that will enchant your eyes through plays of light. The tasting includes: 1 glass of red wine, 1 glass of white wine, 1 glass of Prosecco. Snacks can includes: Sicilian cheeses and salami, nuts, fruit, olives, etc. If the weather conditions don’t guarantee the boat trip, I will let you know in advance and you will be refunded 100%. You will be free to jump off the boat and swim in the Mediterranean Sea as well. Depending on the sea conditions there is the opportunity( If we are lucky) to admire the Dolphins. This sunset excursion is accompanied by fresh aperitif drinks and snacks made with our local Sicilian products. Aperitif beverages can include wine, prosecco, liquors, or non-alcoholic Sicilian juices and non-alcoholic cocktails. Cooking lessons begin with a visit to the local Fish Markets, guided by the refined expertise of the Chef, demonstrating the best fish to buy on the day and bring with you to prepare with your own hand. We will embark from the beach for do a grand tour of the beautiful coast of Taormina, exploring grottos, bays and natural land formations. For example we will enter to the famous "Isola Bella" An UNESCO heritage site that has charmed visitors since prehistoric times. Along our tour we will stop to have a swim around one of the best bays, and you will have the option to use my snorkeling equipment, to explore whats under the sea! Other things to note: If the weather conditions don't allow us to go out in the boat, I will let you know ahead of time, and you will be 100% reimbursed for the tour that we had planned. During the Snorkeling activity, there may be the presence of Stinging Jellyfish.

Meeting Point at 10 am at Restaurant .Our chef will teach you how to prepare a crusty shell, used to cover Cannoli, the typical Sicilian Sweet. You will kneadwith your hands and fry the dough into the peculiar shape. You will also see how the cream is prepared to fill up Cannoli’s shell, starting from the traditional Ricotta Sweet up to the custard. At the end of the cooking class you will taste the Cannoli prepared with your hands! We'll discover the unique nature and the geology of the Mt. Etna visiting the volcano up to the extinct craters at 2000 meters. Scenic driving from the beach level up to the extinct craters, following an itinerary off the beaten road, with the visit of the most important point of interest along the way up. We will complete our experince with a guided and easy trekking around the extinct craters, to understand this human friendly volcano, enjoying an almost lunar landscape. Durante l'esperienza, attraversando paesini etnei dal caratteristico color nero "basalto" e la lussureggiante campagna etnea, raggiungeremo il punto di partenza del nostro percorso di trekking. Sarà sorprendente camminare tra fitti boschi di betulle, pino o faggio, per poi improvvisamente attraversare quella che i locali conosciamo come "Sciara", il desolatamente affascinante deserto vulcanico. Ammireremo tutta la bellezza e le contraddizioni di questo vulcano sempre in trasformazione: tra crateri estinti, paesaggi ora brulli ora lussureggianti, con una flora "eroica" che si è adattata a condizioni estreme. Durante il percorso di trekking che durerà 4h, scopriremo i vari ed interessanti fenomeni vulcanici etnei, faremo un pic-nic nel bosco durante il quale vi offrirò un bicchiere di vino etneo. Sarà un'esperienza autentica, durante la quale vi racconterò la nostra "Muntagna", dalla prospettiva di chi l'ha sempre vissuta dalle sue pendici. Vi parlerò di storia geologica, flora e fauna. Vi racconterò la mia terra anche dal punto di vista storico, antropologico, linguistico ed enogastronomico. Start this wonderful culinary tour at 10am, with a pick up from your accommodation by a native authorized local guide/driver with Mercedes Minivan . Small group (Maximum 8 Guests) is guaranteed. You will continue your trip driving through quaint Sicilian Villages, admiring local and authentic lava-stone houses, listen charming stories about Sicilian culture, tradition and food. Here You enjoy views on the best Etna vineyards surrounded by frames of lava stones. You will stop at the first venue, an antique family running winery, where You will be welcomed by the owner with a glass of wine. Have a guided visit of cellars (optional) and start the wine and cold appetizers tasting. Tasting will include: glasses of Etna wine, locally produced cheeses, salami, olives, sun-dried tomatoes. The second stop will be in a antique and unique restaurant/farmhouse. After 20 minutes driving with 8 seats air-conditioned Mercedes minivan you will reach Forza D’Agrò, a real and authentic small Sicilian village. Take a Walking tour of the old town and visit the places where The Godfather movie was played. After a Walking tour of the village with explanation of Sicilian authentic culture and way of leaving You will drive towards Savoca, the second Sicilian small village where the movie was played. The famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone met the father of his future wife Apollonia. Then (optional) walk 5 minutes to reach Saint Lucy Church where they got married. While taking the Walking tour Your Guide will introduce you the real history of Sicilian Mafia, how it grows up and spread very fast all around Italy. Unisciti a noi per un tour sul mare lungo la costa di Taormina, in modo da poter vedere tutto da un'altra prospettiva e visitare dei posti che non possono essere raggiunti dalla terra ferma. Ammireremo le bellissime baie e grotte (Grotta dell'Amore, Grotta Azzurra) accompagnati dalle spiegazioni del nostro capitano. Ci fermeremo per un tuffo nelle acque cristalline dell'Isola Bella e per un rifrescante aperitivo con del prosecco e paste di mandorla tipiche siciliane. Il tour sarà divertente e accessibile per tutti i partecipanti di qualsiasi età. Il punto di incontro è dentro il porto di Giardini Naxos. Meet up with the chef Mimmo Siciliano in the historical center of Taormina and visit the local market, tasting various fresh vegetable products, cheeses sold by local sellers. Choose the dishes to cook with the Chef based on the fresh and seasonal ingredients found at the market. Continue towards the Restaurant "Nettuno" in the heart of the historic city center, and after a coffee break and wearing the apron, preparation of 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: an appetizer, a fish dish and different types of fresh pasta made by customers with their own hands. First of all the Sicilian caponata, a typical product of Sicilian cuisine with aubergines seasoned with tomato sauce, celery, onion, olives and capers, in a sweet and sour sauce. Afterwards, making fresh pasta made with your hands under the supervision of the Chef, and seasoned with fresh tomato sauce. And then the traditional "ghiotta" fish, found fresh with customers at the local market, cooked in tomato, caper and olive sauce, to absorb all the aromas and flavors. It will be a typical lunch on feast days with the tasting of two Sicilian wines, white and red. Finally, delivery of diplomas and autographed apron as a souvenir of a special day.
