Cancellation policies are the conditions under which a host will return (or doesn’t return) money to a guest upon the guest cancelling the reservation.
Cancellation policies protect hosts in the event of unexpected guest cancellations. Each space on Airbnb has a cancellation policy, chosen by the host. We strongly recommend reviewing all cancellation policies before making reservations. The host's cancellation policy can be found in the Prices section of their listing.
You must agree to the host's cancellation policy when submitting a reservation request.
If you already have an accepted reservation, you can find the cancellation policy on your itinerary. If you need to cancel your reservation, you'll be refunded according to your hosts cancellation policy. If your host needs to cancel your reservation, you can choose to rebook with another host or to be fully refunded.
