Stone Lake fishing places to stay

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

I hosted Christmas with my family this weekend. We had 4 generations and family I only see once a year. This home was everything we needed and more. The kids enjoyed playing downstairs (even the 50 year old kid). We enjoyed the frozen lake. It was a perfect place to send off our floating lanterns. There was plenty of space for preparing and serving a big lunch. The extra kitchen downstairs was perfect for our hot chocolate bar, drinks and treats. Our only complaint was that time moved extra fast there.

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

Another great stay at Kevin's place. Kevin was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again next year when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and the bed was comfy! Loved the coffee selection in the mornings. Over all our stay was a 10 out of 10!!

This is our 3rd year staying here and continue to love it! It always has so many toiletries and amenities that is so appreciated. The hosts are always very responsive and flexible with an added check in day last minute. Thank you so much for the beautiful home that we are so fortunate to stay in for opening deer season and hope to continue every year😊

Our group of friends take an annual outing to remember friends of ours that are no longer with us. This year we chose Stephanie's listing. It was very nice, just as described. It was roomy enough for all of us to hang out and do our own thing or gather together. We found ourselves going to some of the local restaurants and establishments that were recommended, and even took a side trip into Chippewa Falls. We had a little bit of trouble working one of the thermostats but it could have been us. This would be an awesome location to come hang out at in the summertime! We really appreciate all the responsiveness and hospitality, and hope to book with you again!

We stayed here with my family and three little kids. The master specifically has a large closet so we were able to put a pack and play in there and leave the door cracked. Perfect spot for a baby to nap! The beach was the perfect spot. We played in the sand and the water is clean and shallow with a firm sandy bottom. The living space was lovely and lots of space for the kids to play while we made meals. The only down side would be the amount of stairs, but that wasn't a huge issue. We will be back!

Eric meet us when we arrived and gave us a review of his property. We had 5 vehicles with our UTV trailers and there was plenty of room. The home was spotless and we found it easy to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels with very clean bathrooms. The gas grill does need some attention. We ended up getting some charcoal and grilling on the 2 other grills instead. There was 6 couples and we all said we would want to come back here again!! Thanks for your hospitality.

This Airbnb met 100% of our needs. It was squeaky clean. It was easy to find with great directions. Joel is accommodation, friendly, and responsive. We will use this Airbnb again when we're in the area.

Great first get away with my dog. Super peaceful and the leaves were gorgeous! Would definitely recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! It was a men’s weekend for fishing, grilling and time with God. Home was clean, filled with amenities we needed, close to the water and provided a peaceful place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to others! Monea was always responsive and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay! 5 stars, hands down!

We were very comfortable for 2 nights. I loved that there was a heater and fan for each bedroom for maximum comfort. Mattresses are in great shape. It is small and cozy, but perfect for a family of 4.

Our family had such a great stay here while celebrating Christmas. This air bnb was one of the nicest stays we have had. The entire place was spotless and very comfortable. They put up stockings and a little tree near the fireplace which was such a cute surprise! The host warned us in advance about the water having an iron taste and we were prepared with bottled water, but the fridge filter worked great in my opinion. The house was better than the photos and there was alot of great space to spend time. We can't say enough good things, and are sure to be back. 10 / 10, would recommend.

Although I spent most of my time at work, It was extremely nice to come to a place I could call home for a little over a month! never had any problems and the hosts are very responsive into answering ant questions you may have. I actually tried to re book after I left but it was already taken. 10 out of 10 would Def. stay again!!!

This is a nice place to stay with couples needing separate bedrooms. Beautiful spot on a private lake and open to ATV/UTV roads and trails. This was our second time staying here.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Grove! There were so many things that they have thought of to make you feel at home during your stay. Our kids LOVED the kid kayaks! We enjoyed watching them in the calm bay or paddle boarding with them. So much fun for our entire family! We will be back.

Really beautiful spot. The home had many areas for groups to gather and a lot of fun things to do. Beds were comfortable & the kitchen was great.

Great cabin, lots of good space. We used the garage space but it was chilly since it is only a single auxiliary heater. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Voyager village amenities are great too, and the club house is an easy walk. The hiking trail right out back is very convenient. We’d happily stay here again!

Beautiful cabin! Lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of spices and the biggest jar of peanut butter I’ve ever seen. The setting was lovely, with the snow and sunshine. One quick caution: always remember the photographs make everything seem larger. While the space was more than adequate for 5 adults and two children, it didn’t feel as large as the photos. That isn’t anyone’s fault, it’s just the nature of photography. It was really nice to have the downstairs to “spread out” in, and in the summer, the whole outdoors….

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

This was a great gem of a place! Amanda was very responsive with questions and made us feel welcomed! Plenty of room and a great place to come back to after a long day of snowmobiling.

Sarah was very responsive and helpful throughout the checking-in and checking-out process. The property is right on Big Fish Golf Course, is clean, has ample room, and is perfect for a getaway weekend with friends or family. We hope to use this property annually for our golf trip.

This is the second time that Anne has hosted our fishing group and she once again hit a home run! To work with us and deal with our adjustment in the stay was absolutely wonderful. We will be back again to stay again I am certain!
