The main house is Victorian Style but done in a very comfortable cozy decor.
“This cottage is set in serene and beautiful surroundings, has beautiful décor, is historically interesting and wonderful sparkling clean amenities. The light meals offered were delicious and convenient. Brenda and Ivan are wonderful, warm and welcoming hosts.”
My place is close to family-friendly activities and great views. You’ll love my place because of the views, the location, the people, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). There is an Air conditioner in the Living area of the cottage. Braai facilities and a swimming pool is available for guests.
“What an amazing stay!! It really is a standout from almost all the places we have stayed. Great communication, a warm welcome, the children got a tour of the farm, played with the dogs, and treated so well. We were even lucky enough to have sun-downers and roast lamb. Also a highlight was meeting the local children. Was a really incredibly stay and even if this part of the Karoo is not on your South African itinerary, I encourage you to make the trip!! Thank you Charles and Karen for an unforgettable stay!!”
Waterlea Luxury Tents are built on the banks of the Teebus River in a lush poplar forest. We have two luxury Safari tents, each with it's own feel and spectacular view. Each deck extends over the river and is four meters above the water level. The tents are built on a working farm with horses , sheep and cattle running around. The perfect place to relax and take in nature. The birdlife is just spectacular.
“What a lovely gem of a place right on the river. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the lovely fresh farm milk was an extra treat. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. One can swim in the river which is great after a long day on the road. Murray made sure we were made at home and had everything we needed. Only suggestion would be to get directions to the farm as the roade can be a little confusing and reception in the area can be limited. Looking forward to staying again soon.”
