Hike Table Mountain with a Guide
We will hike to the summit of the iconic Table Mountain and experience why it's one of the New7Wonders of Nature. We will take our favorite more easily missed paths to the top. There are many routes that go up and together we will find one that suits your skill and confidence level. The trails all include a combination of hiking, varied levels scrambling and exposure to heights that will allow us to reach incredible viewpoints of Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay, Back Table, and the Mother City. If you have a specific route in mind we can help you determine if it is suitable for you. The trails we do include India venster, Kasteelspoort, Skeleton gorge, and platteklip gorge but if possible and you are able we can do some more wild options. En route, we will take you into the world of the breathtaking Fynbos Floral Kingdom and the very first occupants of Southern Africa who named the mountain 'Hoerikwaggo' or Mountain in the sea. Once we reach the summit we will go to one of the awesome viewpoints to take some summit photos or just enjoy the view from the top. If the Cable Car Station is open then the hike will finish there, where you can then spend some more time at the top and soak in some more views or go and enjoy a well-deserved treat from the restaurant, my recommendations being their coffee, cold beer, appletiser, and milk tart. Other things to note Experience duration is dependent on the route and guests fitness and should take between 3-5 hours. The experience ends at cable car, if its closed then please add another 1-2 hours for the hike down.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hike in a quieter area with unparalleled views of the central Cape Peninsula & Hout Bay from Noordhoek Peak! All the while you'll be hiking with a literal Silvermine local - we actually lived within the National Park in what's known as the Silvermine Valley. This area was Justin's childhood turf & Mark's office where the mountains were an extension of our garden. We'll spend the morning hiking a circular trail through diverse mountain Fynbos (pronounced: fain - boss) in the Silvermine section of the Table Mountain National Park. The emphasis is on looking at the details of the unique biodiversity of the Cape Floral Kingdom & we'll be stopping as we hike to chat to you about the different floral species we see within the Fynbos Biome. We'll walk you through just what makes Fynbos, Fynbos! Depending on the time of year you may see anything from beautiful little blue orchids to magnificent giant pink proteas. Wildlife is shy however we'll listen to the beautiful sounds of frogs and birdsong, and perhaps catch a glimpse of a small mammal. Our 7 km (4.35 miles) circular hike is on standard but rocky and rugged trail, gaining 300m (1000 feet) in elevation to the peak before returning at an easy pace. In the warmer summer months bring swim gear as you may want to jump into the recreational Silvermine Dam at the end of the trail - reinvigorating!

Table Mountain Summit
Together we will choose a suitable route up table mountain, stopping to enjoy the scenery along the way and either descending by cable way or by foot depending on time. Full day tray trips on the mountain are also possible by request. There are a number of interesting sites which require the whole day; e.g. tranquility cracks and are far from the cable. I have spent a number of years in the mountains so there are many options and possibilities depending on your interests. Routes can be chosen based on appetite for adventure and scrambling, exposure, views, flora and also historic landmarks. Together we can custom make a hike for you. Note I am not a mountain guide and I not priced this as a guiding experience, its more to be considered a hike with a local and hikers take personal responsibility by joining.

Join us for a 3 hour walking tour as we discover of Cape Town oldest township established in 1923, Langa (a Xhosa word meaning the Sun) was named after King Langalibalele who was imprisoned at the Robbed Island in 1873 and later at the Castle of the Good Hope. We will meet in front of Guga’sthebe Langa`s tourism and cultural center, where I’ll be sharing the background history our community, insight on its iconic jazz figures, famous sports athletes and new lifestyle trends. Right after we will enjoy a 30min drumming session inside the center before we start with walk exploring the community! The walk is all about giving you a in person experience of the culture, diversity and heritage of townships. Our first stop will be at the Langa Museum in Lerothori street, along the way there a few local stores and a car wash. The next stop will be at the Old beer Hall, where a our grand fathers used enjoy traditional beer called Umqombothi during the apartheid times. Next to the beer Hall there are still few beer houses( shebeen)that’s where we’ll do beer tasting and learn more about the importance of the beer in the Xhosa Culture. Across the road there’s local sheep head market, where Women are running informal business, if you are feeling bold you can have taste. Will proceed exploring langa`s before going back to end our tour at the theater inside the center. Other things to note There's a lot of stereotypes that surround township, do know that this experience is about dismissing all of that. We’re here for any assistance that you might need.
Guided Table Mountain Adventure Hike
Hike up the iconic Table Mountain, following a fun and exhilarating route that you won't find without a guide. I'll take care of navigation and safety, so you can focus on having fun! We'll meet at the Lower Cableway Station just before sunrise. After an introduction and safety briefing, we'll set off on our hike, which starts with a fairly steep climb. As we start gaining altitude along the slopes of the mountain you will be treated by sunrise hitting the mountain crags and slopes, the city and the sea - weather permitting, of course. I will determine the experience level of our group before we set off, and if everyone is up for it, we will leave the trail for some off-trail adventure over the middle section of the hike. On the way up you will be treated to amazing views as we gain altitude, all the better appreciated during our frequent breaks. Here and there the hike will be spiced up by some rock steps that will require you to use your hands to climb up. About four hours after setting off, we'll find ourselves on the summit of Table Mountain, where I will safely see you off at the Upper Cableway Station and the experience ends. Please note that this experience does not include your cableway ticket. In the event the cableway is closed due to adverse weather, we will walk down.
Taste and paint with wine in Cape Town
On arrival at the winery, you will receive a welcoming introduction and start the wine tasting to get your creative juices flowing. As you sip away and get inspired by the view of vineyards and mountains you will do a creative expression exercise followed by a step by step session of creating your own artwork in red wine. We tend to adapt our sessions and subject matter according to the interest and creative ability of the guest. This experience is perfect for a social group activity be it for team building, birthdays or even a bachelorette. At the end of the session, you may take your artworks home as souvenirs. Duration: 2h-2h30min I suggest using Uber or a taxi service to transport you to and from the Winery as wine goes quicker to our heads than we think. Other things to note My times & dates are flexible. Please request other dates & times more suitable. Bring extra cash along in case you would like to purchase anything else from the winery such as food or a bottle of wine
Kirstenbosch Garden experience
There’s something to be said for fresh air. It can shake off those spreadsheet cobwebs and uncurl fingers clenched from typing in its gentle breeze. And, this natural remedy is just 15 minutes from the center of Cape Town. come and experience up to 5 different trails to choose from a custom picnic basket of your choice (price dependent ) and a lovely out and about Kirstenbosch Gardens, the largest of nine National Botanical Gardens in South Africa, is more than just a place to picnic and hike: it’s also a living museum, a haven for the country’s historic horticulture. The large majority of plants are indigenous, with a few minor exceptions (and with good excuses). Get nasal in the Fragrance Garden, educated in the Useful Plant section, and blown away in the Protea Garden. There’s is so much to see, touch, and experience.
