Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, in the quaint town of Ellijay, lies “The Deer Den.” This modern, rustic cabin is sure to be a welcomed escape-enjoy coffee in the rocking chair on the patio, soak in the hot tub, make memories around the fire pit. You’ll feel immersed in nature while looking out the large windows at the beautiful trees surrounding you and deer frolicking about outside. Located just minutes from Downtown Ellijay, hiking, biking, fishing, & wineries.

The space
This rustic modern home seamlessly incorporates mixed elements to give you that true “cabin in the woods” feel.

INTERIOR:
The main level boasts an open living room with large windows, electric, rock fireplace, and cozy seating. The kitchen is also on the main level and is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook with while on your vacation. One bedroom is on the main level and features a king bed, along with a dedicated workspace, TV, closet. One bathroom is also located on the main level.

Upstairs we have a loft with the most gorgeous view featuring twin trundle beds, couch, TV, and plenty of games and entertainment. There is a second bedroom upstairs also boasting a king bed and en suite bathroom.

OUTSIDE:
We offer parking for up to 3 vehicles. The front patio is a perfect place to relax in the rocking chair and enjoy a morning cup of coffee while watching and listening to local wildlife. Head around the house (or out the back door) to access the grill area and hot tub.

THINGS TO NOTE:
This home is located in the private, gated community of Coosawatee River Resort. You and your guests are welcome to enjoy all the amenities this community has to offer! Coosawatee River Resort is over 6,500 acres and has direct access to fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Bring your own gear and we can direct you to where in the community you can go the enjoy your sport of choice! There is also a recreation center that hosts a full gym, indoor heated Olympic size pool, arcade, tennis, basketball, putt-putt, playground, pickleball courts, and more! Additionally, there are two seasonal outdoor pools available to use during warm weather months. There are several parks located by the river that offer walking trails, picnic tables, playground, etc. Coosawatee also boasts an awesome stocked catch and release pond-no fishing license needed!

Two community amenity passes will be provided. Each pass admits 4 guests to community amenities such as the pool or recreation center.

*Be aware that the hot tub may not be fully up to temperature until the evening of your stay if we had someone check out the morning of your arrival
