**READ ENTIRELY/AMENITIES BEFORE BOOKING!** The Bodega is an amazing OFF GRID RV perfect for stargazing, adventurous, nature lovers!

This isn't for the faint of heart!! There’s a great setup, but trouble shooting may arise-you’re essentially camping. There's a set up process w/detailed instructions, to make your stay comfortable, and a check out process. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves. A great place to stay! Important for our guests to know the details above before booking.

The space
We are about 55 minutes to Terlingua Ghost town & 60 minutes to the Big Bend National Park entrance. However, we are tucked away from heavily traveled roads and highways. Located in between Big Bend National Park and Big Bend State Park. This makes it a special and unique get away for you, your family and friends.

Our property offers the perfect blend of scenic views and serenity without the disruption of noise or traffic.

Embrace the off-grid charm alongside modern amenities, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a serene retreat and reset in the heart of nature.

It is VERY important that our guests understand while the roads are pretty well maintained, roads change due to weather conditions and there will be bumps and steep inclines/declines. You’re going to face the desert terrain roads. It is doable in a 2WD HIGH CLEARANCE vehicle (we HIGHLY recommend a truck/SUV), but if you have 4WD/high clearance capabilities, that is HIGHLY recommended.

We also encourage and recommend our guests get to the property before dark (especially for the first time visit) as you are going OFF GRID and you won’t have light until you get to The Bodega and get it set up.

Please understand that it takes time to get to town and back out. Ideally, a typical itinerary for the day would be to go out, enjoy Big Bend and Terlingua adventures, enjoy amazing local restaurants and return to The Bodega, ready to relax and enjoy the peace, solitude and nighttime mountain views.

Other things to note
There is no WIFI. With the location, there are no cell towers around to have WIFI to work properly.

There is no AC. We encourage our guests to bring a small fan in the summer months. We have a small portable heater for the cold months.

We have two griddles there for cooking.
