Previous reviews accurately describe the house and garden. The terraces are delightful places to dine, or just sit and read. The beach, five minutes walk, is one of the best we have ever visited — beautiful, clean, safe and not crowded. We knew that the Calaverde pool would not be open in September, but we were disappointed to find that none of the other facilities listed were open — no restaurant, bar or mini-market. So nearly all food shopping had to be done in Pula. There is a small mini market in Chia. The only negative thing — completely beyond Ludovica’s control — was loud “clubby” music coming from the nearby Forte Resort. Most nights just a distant “thump thump” wafting through the trees. But on two nights the noise was horribly loud, as it was coming from the Forte Arena, only about 200m away. On the Thursday night it stopped at 11.15, but on Saturday it went on until after 1am. L said this was most unusual. It certainly destroyed the peace when it happened.

We stayed at Riccardo's villa for the second time. The perfectly equipped house with a well-equipped kitchen invite you to relax and enjoy. We also like the covered large terrace overlooking the well-kept garden. Riccardo is very responsive and helpful. Very flexible and has allowed us to check in a little earlier. The house is immaculately cleaned and there were super tasty welcome gifts in the form of wine, sausage, sweetened pastries, various drinks prepared for us upon arrival. This is very spacious and also of the best quality, like the entire place. We will come back and enjoy the tranquility in the uniquely beautifully located property, surrounded by villas and parks. The beach is a 5-minute walk away by foot. It is also quiet in July and very suitable for swimming. Thank you Riccardo!

We loved the studio! Ianira and Aldo were amazing hosts that were very responsive and welcoming. They thought about everything and were very forthcoming with recommendations for the area. Everything we needed was present in the studio, even little chairs for the beach! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this location to everyone!

The location of the apartment right by the beach is fantastic. It’s wonderful to have breakfast on the terrace with a sea view or to end the day in the evening with the sound of the waves. The living area could be a bit more inviting, but otherwise, the apartment is very nice. Stefano is a great host who is always available. Ciao Grazie, we would love to come back.
