Vacation rentals with lake access in Sand Lake

Eric meet us when we arrived and gave us a review of his property. We had 5 vehicles with our UTV trailers and there was plenty of room. The home was spotless and we found it easy to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels with very clean bathrooms. The gas grill does need some attention. We ended up getting some charcoal and grilling on the 2 other grills instead. There was 6 couples and we all said we would want to come back here again!! Thanks for your hospitality.

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as described and perfect for our needs. Amanda checked in regularly and I have no doubt that she would have been responsive if we encountered any issues. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Although I spent most of my time at work, It was extremely nice to come to a place I could call home for a little over a month! never had any problems and the hosts are very responsive into answering ant questions you may have. I actually tried to re book after I left but it was already taken. 10 out of 10 would Def. stay again!!!

The host was super easy to communicate with. Very flexible when it came to check in and check out times. House had a gorgeous view of the lake. very peaceful, quiet and an overall enjoyable time.

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

Another great stay at Kevin's place. Kevin was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again next year when we are in the area.

The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

Bob and Lisa's place was perfect! I was there alone, and the space was the perfect size for a solo trip or for a couple to spend a peaceful time away. Bob saw me pull up and greeted me as I arrived, making sure I could get in ok. There was a thoughtful written welcome message on a board outside the door. The lake view and birds were fun to watch (including an eagle that swooped down to snag a branch from the tree for her nest). The place is stocked with everything you need, including snacks and just about every option of coffee making you need. I saw Bob and Lisa enjoying a fire and joined them, having a very pleasant conversation. The neighborhood looks like it would be busy based on the number of houses, but this place is at the end of the road, and there is an ordinance for quiet time at 10pm. It was super peaceful there!

I loved The Perch! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the consideration of not using scented laundry soap and fabric softeners and other scented things! It was so nice to have everything fresh and clean and not smelling like what somebody else thinks is “nice”. Janie was responsive and when I needed help with anything. The place is so cozy and inviting. I hope I have a reason to stay again some time!

This is a perfect place for those hiking the Ice Age Trail. It’s right on the trail and right next to the grocery and restaurant. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a great night of rest between hiking days.

So great that we came here a second time! This property is a slice of heaven. Gorgeous sunset views. Kayaks and paddle boats were perfect for our young family being able to paddle to the sand bars and enjoy the lake. “Serenity” is such a perfect description. We will be back again next summer, Lord willing!

Beautiful, private and spacious apartment. A whole box of chocolates from a local chocolate maker awaiting me with a handwritten note. The air purifier was great for my allergies. Comfortable bed and bedding. My ONLY dislike was the towels. One of the towels I grabbed (later I would smell the towels before using one and at least 3 had weird unclean scents) smelled of urine so maybe use some baking soda or vinegar while laundering? That was the only thing I did not like. Other than that? I loved this place.

The house was super clean, exactly as described. Peaceful, quiet area. The beach areas were very nice and we had them to ourselves basically. The golf course was great and the PAR3 course was great for the kids to try. Caught tons of fish straight from the shore, the club house is walkable, overall it was great, would highly recommend.

An absolute gem of a stay! This home is nothing short of spectacular, beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our trip extra special. From the cozy ambiance to the stunning views, every detail was perfect. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We felt right at home and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a five-star experience!

Enjoyed the welcoming by hosts, coziness, peaceful and private location near Half Moon lake. Beautiful sunsets, night sky, and nearby hiking trails we explored. Provides necessary amenities for a very enjoyable stay! Look forward to booking again.

Cherri is very responsive which was much appreciated. The place was a little hard to find at no fault of the owners, but once we did we were set for the week. We had a boat lift to use which was a value add for us. There are several stairs down to the lake but the view at the top is gorgeous. Great restaurants to boat and the sand bar is not far to boat the grandkids out to enjoy the lake. Our dog was right at home too. Thank you Cherri and Paul for your place for the week, we had a very nice time.

Stacy’s place was cute and cozy for our five person group. We especially loved the assortment of games and puzzles that were available and the family history of the cabin!

We are building our own cabin about 9 minutes from this location. We had several family members and friends coming to help work on our site and we needed a 'homebase". The accommodations were exactly what we needed. I was able to cook for the crew and quilt at the big dining room table while the crew was gone. I was lucky enough to meet Lynn and she was so friendly and helpful. This will be our stay when we need to be up working on our cabin until it's done being built. Location was a quick drive to Hayward and very easy to find even at night!
