Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sand Lake

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The area was private and quiet, and we never ran out of things to do. I think our favorite part was enjoying the hot tub during the evening sunset and listening/seeing all the wildlife. We even had a bald eagle fly right over us! We hope to stay again soon!

Such a pleasure to rest and relax at the cabin! Beautiful hills to wander, sweet dogs to pet, and of course a great hot tub. Worth it in winter, would love to come back in autumn to check out fall colors.

My husband and I had a great stay here for my birthday. The cabin was cozy and clean giving the perfect vibe for a snowy springtime stay. We loved the local restaurant recommendation but also enjoyed cooking in the clean minimal kitchen. Liz was very responsive when we had questions and her overall communication was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to be back again myself. Thanks Liz!

We loved our stay here! Stephanie is a fantastic host - she was very quick to respond to any questions I had and she gave very clear instructions for check in and check out. The place is AMAZING! The apartment was comfortable and clean, would definitely recommend. My two small kids fit on the sofa bed, but it is a very small one!

Great place and a great host! Katelyn responded to messages almost immediately every time we had a question. Place is peaceful and clean! Was a nice cabin. Bunkbeds were a little small for an average sized adult. The hill to and from the lake was rough for those with health issues but we all survived. The beach area was beautiful but the lake needed raking to remove shells and weeds; luckily we brought water shoes “just in case”. Overall, we were all happy with the accommodations!

we absolutely loved the Hygge House and our stay there. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

What a beautiful, peaceful location! I loved being on a quiet backroad and having Lincoln Community Forest right across the road for cross-country skiing and hiking. The house is comfortable and well-maintained: the plants are a nice touch, kitchen is well-stocked, and I made good use of the bluetooth stereo system. I'm already thinking about when I can visit again!

The Little Red Cabin was perfect. Peaceful lake just outside a beautiful small town with lots to do. Great home away from home to kick back and take a break from reality.

The location was perfect, about 8 minutes outside of Park Falls, which has pretty much anything you could need! We didn’t stray from the cottage much, around the fire pit is where we spent most of our time! Such a beautiful view, and our dog LOVED the water and jumping off the dock. Fishing was decent, caught a lot of little bluegills, sunfish, small mouth and rock bass. The cottage was warm and cozy, and was pretty clean! For the rainy days, there are plenty of movies and apps (Netflix, tubi, etc.) on the tv to help pass the time! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We love it here! Jason's place is perfect for a large group, and has everything you need. Appreciate the 4 bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, plenty of parking space, comfy beds, and lots of space to spread out. Great location for access to the Birkie course. We look forward to coming every year!

The Boxcar hosted by Sue & Jeff was a FANTASTIC stay in the Spooner area! The place was incredibly peaceful, exactly as described, and located on the GORGEOUS Cable Lake. Didn't spend enough time at Cable Lake on this trip - Cannot wait to visit again!

Beautiful cabin! Lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of spices and the biggest jar of peanut butter I’ve ever seen. The setting was lovely, with the snow and sunshine. One quick caution: always remember the photographs make everything seem larger. While the space was more than adequate for 5 adults and two children, it didn’t feel as large as the photos. That isn’t anyone’s fault, it’s just the nature of photography. It was really nice to have the downstairs to “spread out” in, and in the summer, the whole outdoors….

Beautiful property and cabin. I loved how the host posted helpful friendly notes and labels in various spots to make staying there and finding things easy. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom all well stocked. I loved all the windows and beauty of the pines seen through them. Easy walk down to the river. Very clean and roomy.

We LOVE the little blue cabin. We have gone back several times now and it feels like a little peaceful home away from home. It is especially nice in the winter and is a great spot to arrive and not have to leave! We love spending time in the cozy living room with the fireplace and also love that we can ski, show shoe, hike or sled right outside the door on their amazing trails! It is like a winter playground. We are so grateful to have found this little gem of a home.
