Fantastic japanese bakery that does japanese specialties as well as french pastries and lunch boxes. The matcha latte and the azuki rolls are my favourites. There is no Wifi but you can catch my Internet from the cafe.

The fact that majority of the clients are Japanese says a lot about the quality of the food here. The miso aubergine is to die for!

The place looks like nothing but try the freshly baked croissants or the freshly pressed fruit juices! They also have the best priced breakfast in the neighbourhood.

Very famous and never disappoint (there are 3-4 in Paris and beware of the copies which are not the authentic Entrecote): http://www.relaisentrecote.fr Only 1 dish on the menu -excellent entrecote with a secret sauce (no jokes) ! (~ 27 euros). Try the profiteroles for dessert. You can not book a table but the queue goes fast and the service is extremely efficient.

The most classic creperie for me. If it is closed, try the Petit Josselin in the same street, which is the brother restaurant.

Shopping

A symbol of French lifestyle, Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann, is the brand's flagship store and showcases the best in design across 3 buildings, offering visitors a unique shopping experience. It is the world's largest department store... Galeries Lafayette also offers 14 restaurants, 1 Decleor spa and 2 Chanel treatment booths. Fashion and gastronomy go hand in hand thanks to Lafayette Gourmet, a fine food store offering a gourmet journey with food and flavours from all over the world. I'm sure you will love its impressive glass and steel dome and the Art Nouveau staircases. Galeries Lafayette it's a place to celebrate the French way of life !

One of the most historical and colorful areas of Paris. During the Middle Ages, the Sorbonne University attracted scholars from all over Europe who learned and spoke Latin, explaining the quarter's name. There are still many higher education institutions in this historic academic quarter, including La Sorbonne and the Collège de France. Most of the Latin Quarter is a medieval maze of winding narrow streets and cobblestone alleyways, with a few quiet hidden squares. Peek into the ancient churches, dine aboard a boat docked on the Seine River, and discover the ruins of a Roman amphitheater. The Latin Quarter also has a lively feel with many restaurants, bars, cinemas and theaters...
