Food Scene
I used to have lunch here every day - best bacon rolls and carrot cake anywhere and the coffee is also very good. Unfortunately only take-away is available now, and toilets are not available. A good place to meet some locals. This is also the nearest convenience store for all the essentials. The Store and Café are CLOSED on Sundays. Winter opening is usually only Wednesday to Saturday. There are some walks around the café - the open air church is worth a visit, and is just a short walk along the path opposite the shop. During the current Covid-19 situation, Jo is only open for Take away, but the shop is open as normal.

I try and avoid the obvious busy times for dinner, so try and get there early to get a table as booking is not allowed.

At the turnoff to the Beallach Na Ba, near KIshorn. Great soups and coffee's. One of the few places open on a Sunday. Normally just open at weekends.

At the end of the dramatic Diabaig road. They filmed "Loch Ness" at the pier there. Great seafood platter. Very good Sunday lunch. Art's Sticky Toffee Pudding is a must! Not many tables, so booking recommended.

Lis, the chef and owner is a magnificent cook. It's worth checking if "Fish Friday" is on, as this is always popular and you need to book, but you can also have take-away. Parking is available at the rear of the hall and toilets are available for customers.
