If she is at home you have to be there at 12:45 to watch the changing of the gards. It is always exciting.
Afterwards you follow Amaliegade to Sankt Annæ Plads, turn to the right to find some nice cafes.

If you feel like walking a bit, you go to Kastellet, a part of the old defensesystem of Copenhagen. You pass the little Mermaid (don`t get disapponted she is really small!!) You can stop at the cafe you pass just after Kastellet, Toldboden, or you can follow the water and take a cup of coffe at Skuespilhuset (Royal Theatre). Just after Skuespilhuset you find the end of Nyhavn, where you can take the Harbour Buss to Papirøen (must go) or go the way down Nyhavn to Nettobådene and take the big tour round the harbour.
