Fantastic healthy food (sometimes an oxymoron, right?) Try the edamame dumplings with truffle oil, the inside-out quinoa burger, the incredible juices. Lovely atmosphere, outdoor seating in warm weather.

It doesn't have atmosphere - better as a take-out place - but Peter makes yummy Chinese food with excellent, clean ingredients. No MSG. And it's only 2 blocks from the house. Plus, Peter is a bit of a personality. He's been there for decades, and can either be super friendly or a bit of a "soup nazi" - if you give him pushback about something or question his food integrity. He's great! I love this place!

Union Station, the old train station, revamped with restaurants, shops, shuffle board, and just great space to hang out. Lots of old building fronts on new, fun restaurants. We especially like Larimer Street, and Market and Blake have some great places too.
