It is a world class museum which is open every day and free to the public. They have fabulous permanent collections and special exhibits. These are $15 for non-members, but you can go as our guest. They have a wonderful restaurant called Amuse, which is open for lunch and Thursday and Friday nights for dinner. They also have a cafe called Best, which is ideal to get a cup of coffee, glass of wine, and a sandwich.

If you are interested in the history of the South, Richmond was the capital of the Confederacy. Unfortunately, some people can't let go of this and insist on flying the Confederate flag. so embarrassing.
