Food Scene

The Sasquatch Inn is open all year round. It is located at the turn off towards Sasquatch Mountain area but just off of the main highway in Harrison Mills. It is a pub and also has a cold beer and wine store where you can get liquor sales. In the summer months they have a fruit and vegetable stand that you can purchase local produce. It is recommended that you bring any liquor with you that you would require as there is nothing open outside of ski season at Sasquatch Mountain to purchase alcohol. This will change as the mountain opens for mountain biking, but currently the only liquor sales available on the mountain itself are in ski season at Molly Hogan's bar.

Harrison Hot Springs' greatest attraction is its titular springs, of course, but it also has the Ranger Station Public Art Gallery, a marina with jet boat tours of the lake available, a nine-hole golf course, and is the closest access to Sasquatch Provincial Park. In July, Harrison Hot Springs hosts the Harrison Festival of the Arts, a ten-day celebration of world music and art. The annual Festival features free outdoor beach concerts, ticketed evening performances, a children's day, visual art exhibits, various workshops and two weekend art markets. The Fairmont offers packages to access their mineral pools as well. Beach activities are common in Harrison.

The Hemlock Hollow convenience store is located a block away from The Last Resort Chalet and is mostly open year round. Hours to be confirmed and cannot be guaranteed. They sell essentials such as eggs, milk, coffee, toiletries etc. as well as some cute souvenirs. Traveler advice

What to pack

If you're traveling outside of ski season, make sure to pack all grocery and liquor items.

Grocery and liquor amenities are limited on the hill outside of ski season, so please ensure that you bring the majority of what you will need or you will have to travel back down the mountain to access a local grocery and cold beer and wine store. There is a small convenience store up there for some basic necessities, but it does not sell alcohol. The resort is said to be opening all-year-round starting in 2020, but until then, shopping and eating options at Sasquatch Mountain are solely what you bring with you to the chalet. We do provide the basics like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, salt and pepper and cooking oil. Previous guests will leave some items from time to time and we encourage you to pass on the love :) Don't forget your bathing suit to enjoy the hot tub! And of course your ski gear if you plan to take advantage of the outdoor amenities. Feel free to bring essential oils such as eucalyptus if you'd like to utilize it in the sauna.
