Food Scene

Huge portions, cheap prices, friendly atmosphere, good food, nearby. Specializing in gluten-free cupcakes and Indian food (don't overthink the combination—it's all good). There's a cafe area and also a restaurant/bar.

This new take on the old-school food court is worth a visit. About a dozen separate food vendors and a thriving full-service bar. There's also a kid-friendly seating area and a shuffleboard table.

Coffee shop also serving full breakfasts and lunches. The wait for food can be a little long, and the basement space shows its age, but the menu is satisfying and in nice weather, the large sidewalk seating area is a pleasant place to watch people pass by.

Drinks & Nightlife

We love this local brewery, whose tap room is only open selected hours (currently Saturdays from 11-4, and Wednesday and Friday evenings). Big, friendly space, and well-priced local beers. There's no food service (except complimentary popcorn and pretzels), but they don't mind if you order in. The brewery also has free pool tables, and a kid area with mats, books, and toys. It's a gathering place for local families, especially on Friday evenings.
