Spectacular views, longest UK cable car (weather permitting). There is also a tram ride to the top for those who do not feel able to walk.
There are some ancient mines too to visit.

Entertainment & Activities
Fantastic place to visit, go at least once a month. Good shops and scenery is stunning. Swallow falls and the falls in the village are spectacular in the rain ! Lovely eating places. Majority of places are dog friendly too.

Well worth a treck up to the peak in good weather. It's about 5mile round trip depending on which track you take.
Be sure to check the weather forecast and use decent footwear.
