Serving great oysters and rotating seafood dishes. They are right on Lake Union and you’ll get a great view of the lake and the Space Needle. On a warm/sunny day, arrive early and plan to wait. You can get a drink at their bar while you wait for a table.

Sightseeing

This is a cocktail bar with unbelievable views of Elliot Bay, Mt. Rainier and Bainbridge Island. I like to sit on the terrace/windown side and see the ferries go by at sunset

This is an open air sculpture park. Start at the top, at the visitor’s center and walk down the pathway, exploring the side paths. Make sure to look all around you for views of the Space Needle and the Olympic National park over the bay. You'll end on Western Avenue/Alaskan Way and if you make your way south, you'll find lots of restaurants/bars/shopping.

This is a fabulous place to spend a rainy day at. You can budget 1-2 hours to see the exhibits and learn more about local art. If you walk north afterwards, you'll find lots of shopping around Westlake Center near 4th and 5th Ave and Pike/Pine Streets

Coffee

Really good coffee and pastries. They open at 7am and are less than a 5-min walk from the suite. I like to make it a fun walk by walking there on Westlake Ave, then taking the stairs up to Dexter Ave with my coffee and return to the suite via a different route

Another good spot for coffee. Their hours are more limited to check before going. This is a nice stroll away on Dexter Ave N. I usually go here when I get tired of Cafe Umbria

Sit down meal or delivery

If you want something quick, casual and authentic, then Tacos Chukis is your spot. You can sit at their small restaurant or order delivery. Try one of their Topo Chico sodas, they are very good!

Neighborhoods

One of the historic neighborhoods in Seattle, Fremont is quirky and fun. You can walk from the suite over Dexter Ave N towards the north (the lake should be on your right) and cross the Fremont Bridge - this is about 1 mile away. From there, you can go right or straight and just stroll around the neighborhood to find vintage shopping, cool bookstores and a few breweries. I like the Fremont Brewery with their open picnic tables. Beer is all the focus on so you can order delivery to the brewery. It is a nice way to recover after exploring the neighborhood and before heading back to the suite.
