The view directly from the parking lot alone is worth a stop. This Vibrant Red canyon is a great stop in the summer heat to take a quick dip in, or get your toes wet. Hike up the canyon itself, or surrounding trails.

If you love long scenic drives, or you're headed south after your stay, Lake McDonald is simply a perfect spot for some photographs, or a nice day on the lake. The lake rocks are so colourful, and the mountains are so nice.

When the Mountain Collapsed, it covered an entire town below. It is a sight to see, because the Mountain still remains atop of the little town, with the most massive slide you'll ever see.
