The pizza from 5 Points is great! We love the garlic knots too. I think people use the term "New York Style" a bit loosely, but this is one of a very few pizza places Nashville has that comes pretty close.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Nashville. (my other 2 favorites are Las Palmas and Cinco De Mayo). Five Points Cucina is really close by and as the name suggests, is located in 5 Points, so you have lots of great music venues, bars, and shops right down the street. I love the cheese enchiladas! If you like things to be extra spicy, be sure to ask for the hotter salsa, in addition to the regular salsa they bring with chips when you are first seated.

I Dream of Weenie has always been one of my favorites! Nashville has become well known for its food truck scene and I Dream of Weenie has been a leading pioneer. Housed in an old Volkswagon Bus, you can get tons of different types of hot dogs. The "Dill Weenie" and the "Flaming Frank" are my two favs. If you have finicky kids, this is a really fun place to get some delicious hot dogs.

The 5 spot quickly made a name for itself when it first opened up. They usually have decent local bands playing through out the week, and often have bigger names on the weekends. Lady Gaga did a show there last year and made a video about it. You can see the entire performance via the link below: https://www.nashvillescene.com/music/nashville-cream/article/20836063/watch-lady-gagas-entire-5-spot-performance

This is my favorite park in Nashville. It is more of a city park, as it isn't huge, but it has the Parthenon and lots of beautiful trees and ponds. If you're there during the right season, you can feed the ducks too. Centennial Park also hosts lots of different events such as craft festivals, food festivals, movies in the park, big band swing music in the band shell, as well as the yearly Shakespeare in the park series, where you can watch people act out Shakespeare's beloved plays. Most of the events they have are FREE, so be sure to check out their calendar! https://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/Parks/Centennial-Park.aspx

Arts & Culture

Originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece serves as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture. The plaster replicas of the Parthenon Marbles found in the Naos are direct casts of the original sculptures, which adorned the pediments of the Athenian Parthenon dating back to 438 B.C. The originals of these powerful fragments are housed in the British Museum in London. You can get more info on the Parthenon and Centennial Park via the link below: https://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/Parthenon.aspx

The Frist Art Museum opened in April 2001, and since that time has hosted a spectacular array of art from the region and from around the world. Unlike any traditional museum you’ve ever visited, the Frist Art Museum has become a magnet for Nashville’s rapidly expanding visual arts scene. With an exhibitions schedule that has new art flowing through the magnificent art deco building every 6 to 8 weeks, no matter how often you visit, there is always something new and exciting to see in the spacious galleries. The Grand Ole Opry is legendary and makes up the heart of Nashville's country music scene. It is surprisingly affordable for most of its shows and you are guaranteed to see a Grand Ole Opry member or two at each show. The only thing that rivals it, is the Ryman Auditorium. .
