Bonfires! Go on any night early and you can get your own firepit. BYO firewood! There is also a daytime 'swimming club' there - you won't be alone if you swim to the buoys. Local swimmers are friendly and there are usually lifeguards there, even in winter. Go on a windy afternoon to watch windsurfers.
