An easy one block walk, and downhome cooking. We recommend anything of the breakfast menu (served all day), and especially the blueberry pancakes.

Great source for quick delicious Pizza - coal fired crust and great toppings. We recommend walking the block and eating it there - fresh from the oven.

Drinks & Nightlife

Great Place any time of day with a hearty menu, amazing drink selection, and eclectic vibe.- When the weather is nice you can sit outside within the courtyard. We recommend the shredded pork Cubano sandwich - but it's all really good. Favorite drink is the "Old Cuban" but they have a full menu of scotch and a full selection of on tap brews.

Parks & Nature

Walk or Bike on the new Jackson Street Trail to Shepard Road, paths in each direction along the Mississippi, but our favorite destination is to go toward Wabasha, and take the stairs down to Raspberry Island.

Essentials

The Lunds Grocery store is a two block walk from the "parking lot" side of the home. Great Salad Bar, Deli Counter, and Big Bowl Take Out (check out the family meal deal). Look for BOGO's (buy one get one specials) daily. Secret Tip: f you shop after 8 pm the bakery loaves are 2 for 1 also. Slice the seeded loaf up thin (bread knife in the drawer below the toaster) and serve with butter and jam for an easy breakfast the newt day.

MetroTransit, including bus and Light Rail are best way to get around within the city. Download the app from Metro Transit on your phone to buy passes, and plan your routes. When the weather is nice, we love using the Bicycle Sharing Program too - Nearest Bike Rental Station is across from Lunds.
