A quick and easy trail to see the historic Sutro Baths. There is a large and long cave if you can find it. This place is very scenic and nice to walk around. You can make your way up to the fort after for a longer trail that will lead you to the Legion of Honor if you like.

A nice little park to visit. There are always some birds flying around, a scenic lake, huge trees, and a very relaxed ambiance. I like to go running and walking here.

A great way to spend 4 hours. This is a huge science museum where you can see an entire body of whale bones, get shaken around in an earthquake simulator, and learn about butterflies all in the same place. On Thursday evenings they close the whole place to kids and throw a boozy evening of scientific exploration!

Great spot if you can get a reservation. Lunch is usually fairly easy to walk in. Their fresh baked bread is great, and the seasonal menu is very tasty.

This place got rated in the top 100 Chinese restaurants in the USA. Their duck is very tasty, but hard to get sometimes as the lines are out the door. You can sit down and eat here if you like, skip the line and walk right in.

This place is known for its chicken wings. The wait can be bad sometimes, but its worth it. My favorite is the wet style wings. Their other food is decently good, but its all about the wings.
