-Le restaurant populaire de la Maison communautaire des femmes l’association Darna. Ce sont des femmes en insertion qui font la cuisine et qui assurent le service. La nourriture est excellente et bon marché. C’est un lieu magique et de paix au coeur de la ville, non loin de la Cinémathèque et du Grand Socco. Vous y croiserez le tout Tanger expat, touristes occidentaux, artistes et intello… Vous êtes sur de rencontrer quelqu’un que vous connaissez. Tous les jours du lundi au samedi, deux plats sont proposés à la clientèle, excepté le vendredi où le couscous est de coutume. Et à ne pas manquer. Les bénéfices récoltés sont reversés à l’association pour laquelle oeuvrent ces femmes. En plus de la cuisine, on peut visiter leur atelier de tissage et d’artisanat à l’entrée du restaurant. Très convivial et chaleureux, parfait pour un repas le midi. -The popular restaurant of the Women's Community House   Darna the association. It is a magical and peaceful place in the heart of the city, not far from the Cinémathèque and Grand Socco. You will meet the whole Tangier expat, Western tourists, artists and intellectual ... You are sure to meet someone you know. Every day from Monday to Saturday, two dishes are offered to customers, except on Friday when the couscous is customary. And not to be missed. The profits collected are donated to the association for which these women work. In addition to cooking, one can visit their weaving and handicraft shop at the entrance to the restaurant. Very friendly and warm, perfect for a meal at noon.

Plusieurs histoires et mythes sont liés au Cap Spartel. L’hôtel Continental existe depuis 1870, il est vraisemblablement le plus vieux hôtel de Tanger. La vue sur le port est magnifique et totalement calme aujourd’hui depuis que le déplacement du fret et du gros trafic passager à été transférer à Tanger Med. La croyance populaire nous dit qu’elles auraient été construites par une civilisation ancienne pour se protéger. En réalité, leurs existences restent un mystère.
