Yes Alcatraz is worth going to, but if you want great views without the crowds, take the ferry to the other great island in the Bay. Take in the varied and sometimes tragic history of the island, which was been used as a military base, and quarantine space (the museum is a must see), before becoming a state park.

The best park in San Francisco . It was open since 2022. On a sunny day, you can see 360 degrees view of San Francisco, including Golden Gate Bridge, palace of fine arts, the ocean etc. definitely check it out.
