The Lion is great for burgers with a ridiculously big selection and some really interesting different options - not your normal pub burger by any stretch. They have live music every weekend and craft beers galore!

Places And Activities

Here are some places to visit and attractions, it’s only a handful and I can give you some tips in person.
If your a visitor to Nottingham, this is where to go for your photo with the bronze statue of Robin Hood. The castle is a beautiful building with pretty manicured gardens. There are several nice pubs next to the castle including one that claims to be the oldest pub in England! From the castle you have fantastic views over ‘The Park’ where the deer and stag once roamed. Don’t worry you can still visit the deer and stag at Wollaton hall.

Some of you may recognise this as Batman’s house, and it is commensurately impressive with beautiful architecture and surrounded by Wollaton Deer Park. The deer roam free here so you can walk right up to them with no fence in between. Please keep in mind they are wild animals and it isn’t a petting zoo, but they are truest amazing to spend time with. There is at least one festival here every year, ‘Splendour’ that’s family friendly and is a good day of music.
