Everybody in Barranco goes there, it's a local favourite. Really good food, big, big plates. But I need to tell you, it not always has the best customer service, with patience and good mood it doesn't have to be a problem though, it's worth it (you can find it as "Chifa Chun Yion Union" in Google Maps).

The location on the Airbnb Map is WRONG for this place, so the link to the real location in Google Maps is: https://goo.gl/maps/xWVQnc9kfK87pCiv5 (you can look for it there as "El Muelle, Barranco District", is really close to "Metro" supermarket. This is a place to try "ceviche" and other sea food, one of the most popular in Barranco, neighborhood restaurant.

A little expensive and fancy, but really good, specially with sea food. Our personal favourite.

Just around the corner from our building, italian food, I would say the best option there would be a lasagna. Modest neighborhood restaurant, not known by people outside the area, but always frequented by their same loyal local clients.

You'll find lots of places to eat in the street next to ours, Pierola Street, but is mostly kind of fast food (sandwiches, fries, etc.), open usually at nights (it means some of these places are closed at lunch). Not so many recommended points there, but it's still an option if you are in a hurry or too tired to go further.

Also, a well known neighborhood restaurant for sea food, very close to "Metro" (the supermarket), you probably will have to make a line to get a table on a busy day (weekends at lunch).
