The best pizza in the country?..Better than Italy?..You be the judge. We have travelled extensively round Italy and i still think this is the best pizza i have ever tasted. Authentic Neopolitan pizza pie with changing weekly specials and local craft beer. Excellent fast service. A must visit in Manchester!. Only downside is the Q's. You will wait 30mins to 1hr at weekend peak times. Put your name down and nip next store to Brew Dog for a beer. They will txt you when your table is ready. Check their website for opening times. No reservations . See sister restaurant on Cotton Street Manchester. If you go there then check out 7 Brothers beer house first if you have to wait. Excellent value ££.

Beautifully restored indoor independent food market. Foodie heaven! Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. This indoor food market is always buzzing and busy. Communal tables and smaller ones upstairs. Great place to hang out in a group. Decent sized bar area too. Quality doesn't come cheap so expect to spend anywhere from £15-£30 pp and more. Everything is good here. Great pizza, fish and seasonal specials change weekly. Some of the cakes and bakes are also to die for. Great place to kick the evening off but be aware its very busy at weekends so get there early. About £5 in an Uber from our place.

Recently opened Spanish Tapas Bar. After the success of their 2 sister restaurants in the suburbs we are delighted they chose Chapel Street for their city offering. Very traditional tapas, excellent service in a beautifully restored old bank. Dishes from £5-£15. They also have a great bar and live music offering at weekends. Well worth a visit if you want to stay local.

20 Stories, in Spinningfields, is a destination dining experience ( next to the Ivy). It's a great place for a cocktail and the food is also decent. People really go for the views, hence the name, and the roof garden. Expect to que at weekends, reserve in advance and check the dress code.

Drinks & Nightlife

This is one of the city's best traditional old pubs (recently refurbed) and it's right on our doorstep across the road in Bexley Square!. Manchester's biggest collection of Belgium bottled beers. Rotating cask and local ales. A great place to start the afternoon or night. Well worth a visit for a few pints. They also show football in the back. Outdoor seating in the square. Does not do food.
