Fabulous wild park great for a walk in the woods too. Beautiful all year round esp come to see the bluebells. Have tea in Stanmer House as its so grand but actually friendly even if you are muddy from your walk. Roaring fires in winter, garden in Summer

Hike to Lewes or access the South Downs Way and take the train back or find castle hill nature reserve for a hidden treat! Can be sheep loose so watch out if walking a dog.
