Another favorite. Great food. Excellent atmosphere. Don't let the word "tavern" fool you, Chilmark is a dry town so bring your own wine, beer or alcohol (they have the mixers) -- it's part of the charm :)

One of the best beaches on the island and the closest to our house! Long Point has an inlet with calm waters for little ones, but for those who want to brave the waves of a ocean-facing beach, Long Point offers a dramatically beautiful spot. Also, trails for walks. Arrive early, the parking lot fills up.
