Food Scene
Unassuming little bistro that serves incredibly authentic and delicious French food with one of the Okanagan's best wine lists. Before we moved here from the Coast, my husband and I would steal away to this place. Oh and the owners are lovely friends. *Update: There are new owners now. I have to say we're a little sad as our favourite haunt has lost some of its je ne sais quois :(

Room is small but that's why we like it. Decore isn't amazing but the food is authentic and flavorful.

Nice to have a great pub walking distance from the house. They serve usual pub fair and in the summers have a lovely little patio to sit out on. No juniors are allowed which is a bummer for us with our 6 year old but my husband and I sometimes steal away for a "working" lunch.

Raudz does Farm to Table in a relaxed yet upscale environment. The food is delicious and everything, I mean everything, is made on site. Great with friends or your significant other. Go early to guarantee seating as they don't take reservations.

This winery is a hoot because it's a 3D experience. It's right up the hill from us and we even have a walking path. They have outdoor music on summer weekends and it's a great place to bring a picnic, grab a bottle of wine, sit back on their front lawn and relax. The owners are Welsh (as am I)

Shopping
The market is part of our weekly life. We venture there every Saturday for a morning crepe and collect our wares. The Okanagan is full of amazing markets and this is a good staple. It's big enough to feel happening but small enough that you're not walking aimlessly for hours. There's too many good vendors to call out any one in particular. Be prepared by bringing cash and a good basket.

1800 Springfield RdThe market is part of our weekly life. We venture there every Saturday for a morning crepe and collect our wares. The Okanagan is full of amazing markets and this is a good staple. It's big enough to feel happening but small enough that you're not walking aimlessly for hours. There's too many good vendors to call out any one in particular. This is a little strip mall down close to the Lakeshore. It's where we do our daily shopping. There's an Urban Fair and other stores nearby. You can find most of your essentials in and around this area.

We overlook this golf course and has stunning orchard and lake views. It has been voted the best golf course in Kelowna and has a great club house. This venue also hosts many annual weddings.

We're close to the highway that takes you to Big White making a day trip very easy to accommodate. We have driven there in 35 mintues door to door from our home. Pretty amazing to have this world class destination so close.
