Has a Fairy Trail and a lovely terrace to have tea or a drink. Stony beach which our kids love playing on. Nice place to have lunch and have a kids menu – even in the rain a good view from the lounge

There isn't a category for farms so this is the nearest I could choose! Great place with place to play indoors as well if showery. Loads of animals (always puppies and kittens to cuddle), climbing frames, old buses to drive, indoor play space and a v simple café with tea and coffee.

There isn't a category for farms so this is the nearest I could choose! Great place with place to play indoors as well if showery. Loads of animals (always puppies and kittens to cuddle), climbing frames, old buses to drive, indoor play space and a v simple café with tea and coffee.
Lots of animals to feed, butter to made, scones to bake and candle making too. Lovely, ramshackle place with wonderful owners who are marvellous with kids. Tours are at 10am and 3pm and need to be booked.

Established 10 years ago by a Frenchman, this is the place to come for interesting chocolates and they also do workshops. On the road just past Bonane on the Beara Peninsula and the way to Bantry. 5 mins from Molly Gallivan’s cottage. Open all year round.

Restored castle from the 1400s on the edge of the lakes from where you can take boat rides round the lakes. Castle itself is a 45 mins tour but not suitable for small children.
