Yonder is gorgeous both indoors and out and the food is fantastic. They cater superbly to people with specific dietary requirements and everything is presented with real flair.

Some of the best food around! On the walk up to the Skyline Gondola, it's got a cabinet packed with tasty treats to suit every dietary requirement and an amazing menu. Great outdoor fireplace too.

Step outside, cross the road then take the track to the left. Keep following it and you'll get some stunning views across the Kawarau River - you can even walk a loop back through Lake Hayes Estate.

There's a beautiful old historic bridge - the Old Shotover Bridge a short stroll away. Step out of the house, across the road and go right, then follow the tracks to the Shotover River and along to the old bridge. There are a couple of information panels there telling stories of the evolution of the bridge.

An 8km loop around the lake takes in so many different outlooks. It's mostly easy walking, soaked in sun and of course there's the option for a swim on a hot day :-)

Yes it's steep but the views from the top make it worth it! Take a moment to rest in the 'Basket of dreams' or hike the extra few minutes to the summit for the best outlooks. Definitely take water and wear good shoes.

Fly like a bird, glide down gently or ask your pilot if you'd like a few thrills - then savour the photos for years to come. An incredible activity but we may be a little biased as Dom is a pilot with them :-)
