The best burgers in town by far, with really great gas-station themed decor—even their menu items are named after cars. Try the Hub Caps (deep fried pickles).

Excellent pastries and great coffee. On a summer day it's nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. Their strawberry-rhubarb tartlet is insanely good.

Drinks & Nightlife
Feels like you're in Miami with the white-on-white decor punctuated with green plants and the Cuban music playing. It's loud, but a lot of fun. If you like bourbon, try the La Louisiana, sort of a twist on the Manhattan. A big plus: they use only stainless steel straws. Yay environment!

Delicious beer! Sit inside or outside, upstairs, downstairs (there's a fire pit) or out back. Dogs are welcome. No food, but there's often a food truck out front, or you can also order from nearby Fairhaven Pizza and they'll walk it over for you. There's almost always live music here, too, like bluegrass or folk music.

Shopping
This is one of the best independent bookstores I've ever been in, and we're so lucky it's in our back yard. Three levels of books to keep you happy, plus a stationary store next door. Dogs welcome.

Joe's is open seasonally. In spring they sell plants, but by mid-summer it's a rocking farm stand with produce they grow themselves, plus fruit sourced from east of the mountains. Good people and great quality fruit and veggies.

A good grocery store with plenty of options. Their handmade bratwursts are great, and their fish seems to always be fresh.
