Get in line 30- to 45-minutes early to get seated on the first round. Famous for the macadamia pancakes, but their Portuguese sausage omelet with a side of fried rice is amazing!

This chain restaurant doesn’t fare well on Yelp, but the food is always consistent and the location couldn’t be better. Make reservations for just before sunset to get a great view with your dinner.

Recently remodeled, this open air restaurant has a very local flavor with a plate lunch being their specialty. Ocean front dining makes for a great atmosphere. Being located just outside downtown Lahaina, it’s a perfect place to start your day of shopping with a quality meal.

This very traditional luau is right next to Aloha Mixed Plate and has the same great view. This luau starts just off just after sunset, which is almost always picturesque Hawaii. They are ranked #1 on the island, so make your reservations early. There are no coupons or discounts for this luau, but it’s worth every penny for the experience. Don’t book this luau for your last night, instead book it for the beginning or middle of your trip since it runs late.

If you love açaí bowls, then you have found the holy grail of quality açaí bowls! Food that looks and tastes amazing! They are Vegan and Vegetarian, but don’t let that discourage you if you’re a meat eater, definitely a great way to start your day.

This store/restaurant is a hidden gem, you wouldn’t expect this little store to have awesome plate lunches, let alone a great breakfast. While Kapalua is not known for being inexpensive, this little store delivers good quality at a good price. There are plenty of picnic tables available on the lanai to enjoy your meal. If you enjoy a nice walk with a destination, this store is a perfect 5K round trip from the condo and back, taking you on a very enjoyable and scenic route.

Some excellent food to grab on your way back to the beach and enjoy on the lanai of your condo. Ordering ahead, will insure that they are open, but also save some times as each meal takes about 20- to 30-minutes to prepare. Make sure to upgrade to the garlic fried rice...yum!

Whenever you're around Kahului and have some time to kill, this is a good stop for a good lunch. Either call your order in for take-out or be prepared to wait up to 45-minutes. While this little strip mall restaurant was featured on Triple D's years ago, the hype is still there and gets busy and service can be hit or miss...though the food is always great.

Parks & Nature
This little gem is one of West Maui’s best kept secrets. This little cove doesn’t look like much, but it sure offers a lot when it comes to snorkeling and watching for Honu. There is no way to miss the abundance of healthy Honu and sea life. You can expect to find: butterfly fish, parrot fish, damsel fish, surgeon fish, Moorish idol, tang, wrasse, box fish, perch, chub, trigger fish, the Hawaii State Fish Humuhumunukunukuapuaa, goat fish, porcupine fish, hawk fish, scorpion fish, jacks, cornet fish, crustaceans and even squid at twilight.

Napili Bay is one of the nicest beaches on Maui’s West side. This cute bay has a good reef down the middle that makes is excellent for snorkeling, especially early in the morning. While this beach is fairly steep, it can offer some good boogie boarding. There are great views of Molokai and one of the best places to watch a sunset. This beach is very family friendly and there is always some calm water to be found.

Kapalua Bay is a little off the beaten path, but that can be a good thing as it doesn’t get the attention that other bays offer. The bay is protected by two reefs that extend on both ends of the bay, forming a picturesque crescent shape. Those two reefs also provide excellent snorkeling opportunities. Beach parking is conveniently located next to the public showers and restrooms. The parking lot is a little on the small side for the popularity of the beach so be sure to go in the morning to guarantee yourself a parking spot. From the parking lot and bathrooms, simply walk down the steps and under the small “tunnel” and you’ll be overlooking picturesque Kapalua Bay.

Honolua Bay is a Marine Life Conservation District located on the north western end of Maui. No fishing of any kind is allowed here making for a sea life density and diversity that is second to none on the Valley Isle. Honolua Bay is surrounded by high rocky cliffs on both sides that shelter it from the wind and keep the water calm.
