Food (Restaurants)
Armenian Restaurant. Good food and good service. It can be such a great experience to discover if you do not know this kind of food! Serve mainly meat and authentic starters, but also pizzas or pastas if you are more classic ;) Stop at the station "Mairie d'Alfortville" with the bus 103.

Brazilian restaurant. The main courses are not beyond compare but the starters and the homemade fruit juices are incredible. Especially the one with passion fruit. Don't be afraid of the front window which is not classy but trust their authentic cook. Stop at the station "Rue de Seine" with the bus 103.

There is no words to describe the taste of Rôtisserie Steph's chicken. His sauce is a secret one. You can buy an entire chicken (you can ask him to cut it into parts), or as paninis (hot sandwiches) or wrapped. Served with rice, baked potatoes and a drink. N.B : It is only at 10min by foot from the house. And you have to take away, there in no seat.

Bakery (Boulangerie - Pâtisserie)
It is one of my favorite boulangerie in Alfortville. If you want to eat a real authentic French Baguette (bread) you have to get there. You can also give in and buy some pain au chocolat, croissant, or a pâtisserie. They are all good.

Places to see (Lieux emblématiques)
Enjoy a really pleasant walk, all along our famous river called "La Seine" toward our beloved bridge (no... my love for this city is not excessive). You can also go for joggings. You cannot be lost in Alfortville, it is a rectangle. Walk just straight ahead and make a u-turn to get back home.

OK it is not the "Hôtel de Ville" of Paris, I admit. But it's a really enjoyable place, with little cafés where you can take a... café (thank you captain obvious) just in front of! And according to the legend, the sun is always shining over this place. Go to check-out and please tell me then ;)
