We were very happy with the house. The house was clean, fresh and bright. The house was well equipped with a proper kitchen and a clean toilet. Gritta was an amazing host even though we did not get to meet her. She gave us lots of useful and personal recommendations to explore Berlin and she readily and speedily answered all our queries. After the stay Gritta also followed up and checked up to wish us well. I think she is an amazing host who happens to offer an amazing home.

I stayed at Gritta's place for 8 days and could not have a better accommodation for my first days in Berlin -and Germany! The room and facilities Gritta provided were impecable. Gritta's suggestions about Berlin's attraction were very helpful too. Plus, the extra attention that Gritta kindly gave to some paper work I had to do in the city council offices made my first arrival to the country way easier. I spent one month here and for the entire time Jacqueline made me feel very welcome in her home. She made sure I knew where everything was around the apartment constantly made sure I had everything I needed. She was willing to help with trip planning and was ready with suggestions of where to go and what to see. The balcony is very enjoyable for morning coffee or the afternoon. The description of the apartment was very accurate. This very clean and comfortable apartment is located in a beautiful neighbourhood where I felt very safe and was no more than 40 min from most attractions in Berlin – with transit nearby. The room is perfect for anyone who wants to stay in Berlin.

This apartment is just the bomb. Very spacious, very bright, great sound system and very tastefully furnished. It really felt just like home, only better. The kitchen is also fully equipped, so that we were able to make a delicious breakfast after a relatively heavy night of drinking, and enjoy it on the balcony that has a pretty open view with some greenery. The place was absolutely spotless when we arrived, and Christine was a very friendly and convenient host. She was away for the weekend but safe deposited the key at a shop using Hoard, so that we were able to pick it up even at 1:30 am when we got to Berlin. Even though she was away, she was still easily reached and answered in no time. I got to admit though, the best part really was (spoiler alert !), the old school Game Boy with tetris in the toilets! ;) Overall a great experience that I would not hesitate to repeat.

The apartment is big, open and full of light, with high ceilings, and all the utilities necessary even for a longer stay - overall I felt very relaxed there! Christine was in contact whenever I needed it, answering the questions I had and helped me with a few small but important things I needed, she is very nice and she made me feel right at home in their flat. The area is nice and quiet, at a 5-10min walk to main transports which link it to the centre, at 30m there is a small shop with long hours where one can get a beer and snack, and there are a few bars/ night bars close by at a 15-25min walk Kruger, Bad Fish, Deck5. I had no trouble getting there, again Christine provided exact details and instructions for this. All in all, next time in Berlin I'll be sure to try and book this place again! All the best!

I had a wonderful stay at Georg's place, highly recommending it to everyone. Georg was available to me all the time, and was a very kind host to me. The area is at a perfect location, only 3 stops away from Alexanderplatz. If i ever go back to Berlin, I have no doubt where to stay there.

It was a good stay at Georg's place. The room is bigger compared to the pictures and the house is strategically located, with many trams and metro. It is a quiet neighbourhood and I slept well. Georg ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, bei dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das Zimmer ist gemütlich, sauber und toll ausgestattet mit allem was man so braucht inkl. Spiegel, Wasserkocher, Geschirr und Kleiderbügeln. Auch das Bad und der Rest der Wohnung sind super sauber und gepflegt. Tolle Lage am Prenzlauer Berg und nur 2 Gehminuten zur Haltestelle Eberswalder Straße.

Georg ist ein zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist einfach fantastisch. Es hat alles super gepasst. Meine Vorstellungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und ruhig gelegen ( im Hinterhof). Man kann Nachts bestens schlafen. In der Umgebung findet man zahlreiche Restaurants die kostengünstige Mahlzeiten anbieten. Man ist mit dem Nahverkehr (direkt vor der Haustür) jederzeit mobil in allen Richtungen. Es war alles bestens. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Rusdi and Andrea are a friendly and fun, easygoing young couple, it was very easy to have a nice stay at their place. Their home is very clean and bright and the bed in the room is really comfortable. The room is spacious, great for two. They had maps and brochures ready and were very helpful in everything. The location is also very good: Prenzlauer Berg ’s nicest streets are just 5min walk away and there’s a direct tram to Mitte. The apartment is on a quiet inner yard. I can definitely recommend! Das Zimmer ist sauber und warm, auch ganz guensitig. Die Bushaltestelle und Ubahnstation sind in der Naehe. Da kann man einfach zum Bahnhof oder in die Stadt fahren. Besonders gefaellt mir das Bett, es ist mit einer kleinen Leiter zu erreichen. Wir waren hier zwei Maedchen. Lea ist ganz ganz nett zu uns! Wegen der unerwarteten Abkuehlung hat sie uns eine dicke Jacke ausgeliehen, und haben uns ganz viele nuetzliche Tipps ueber Berlin gegeben. Das war wirklich eine schoene Erinnerung!

I had to study a lot these days, so I was in the apartment most of the time, and I can say: it's very cozy and spacious, and I had the rest I needed at the end of the day. We absolutely loved the apartment. It was well laid out and had everything you needed for a great week exploring Berlin. Would definitely recommend this one.

Alex was a great host and was waiting to greet us on arrival. The flat is as detailed and in a quiet neighbourhood yet only a short walk to lots of bars, restaurants, and transport links. Our flights were early morning and late afternoon so Alex let us check in early and check out late.

My boyfriend and I loved the apartment, which was exactly as shown in the pictures. We appreciated that a late check-in was not a problem. And of course the neighborhood is really lovely, both for going out and just wandering around.

Alexander was great; he let us check in a bit early and met us at the apartment at the time we arranged to show us about. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos and is really comfortable for two people. It's clean, modern and has a lovely mezzanine bedroom that was really comfortable. The apartment is part of a large redevelopment and has a fantastic shared space for residents with gardens and playground for kids, and the apartment kitchen looks onto it, so it felt as though we were part of a small village. But I think the best thing about the apartment is the location - absolutely fantastic in a lovely tree-lined street close to everything but also calm and peaceful.

It had everything you could ever need including a really great shower and a very comfy bed! The apartment was in a great location too - situated very close to 2 Underground stations which made it quick and easy to get around Berlin. Alex was a really helpful host, very attentive & gave great information about local bars and restaurants in the area - I don't see how anything could have been better! Alex was prompt at meeting us with the keys even though our flight got in late, the leaflet he had made to suggest bars/restaurants/cafes was a bonus and the neighbourhood was lovely. The flat looked as described albeit slightly hotel-like. Thank you Alex for a lovely stay!

Great location and very convenient to get around town with 2 u-bahns on the doorstep. Hassib provided all the essentials (plenty of toiletries, towels etc.) and was very accommodating making the apartment available for us early. We had a great stay, highly recommended!

I stayed with my boyfriend for three nights in Hassib’s apartment in Berlin and I can only spend excellent words for him: everything was perfect! The house is inside a courtyard, so quiet and peaceful during the night, warm, cozy and very spacious for two people: there is a fully equipped kitchen (although we always ate out), with a kettle for hot tea or the toaster for breakfast; There are all those foods (sugar, salt, tea bags) that can always be useful and that no one buys for so short periods; then a huge room with an equally huge tv, bed and sofa; and finally a foyer with a large closet and a bath, which is also warm and equipped (there are even shampoo, shower gel, shaving cream, hair dryer, and of course all kind of towels!). The position/location is excellent, literally in front of the exit of the Heinrich-Heine-Strasse underground station, which is 2 stops from Alexanderplatz or at least a 5/10 minute walk to that. Around there are cafes and mini-market opened 24 hours I think, where we bought water, juice and something else for breakfast. I absolutely suggest everyone to stay by Hassib, also for his kindness and willingness to let us check-in at late hour (our flight was also delayed). I would also add that Hassib has "follow me" from the booking, giving me recommendations on which public transport take (with accurate timetables!!) to reach the apartment and the same when we leave. So I strongly recommend him! If I’ll return to Berlin, I surely get in touch with Hassib!

Eir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Berlin! Die Wohnung ist bestens geeignet für einen Wochenendausflug. Sie ist zwar etwas dunkel und hätte etwas sauberer sein können, aber von der Ausstattung und der Lage ist sie perfekt! Auch wenn die Adresse in der Beschreibung nicht stimmt, da sich die Wohnung in einem anderen Gebäude ganz in der Nähe befindet.

We had a wonderful stay in Hassib's flat. The flat is amazing and just as the pictures suggest, even better if something. It is located in a brilliant area (Metro and bus infront of the door, S Bahn five minutes away) The flat is beautifully equipped for all kind of cooking and we immediately felt at home. We did not have a cable to make the TV work with our mac and Hassib was kind enough to go and buy one for us on the first day. This is what we called first class service. The flat is finally very quiet and with all conveniences nearby. You can walk in less than 10 mins to the Alexanderplatz and other important Hotspots or clubs. Could not have had a better time in a very cosy and lovely Apartment (with the comfiest bed I've ever slept in). Thank you again Hassib!

Schöne und ruhig gelegene Wohnung. Ideal für 2. Das Umfeld lädt zu kulinarischen Entdeckungsreisen ein. In fast jedem Haus ein Restaurant. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell und problemlos erreichbar. Dagmar ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin die auf die Wünsche ihrer Gäste eingeht.

Die Unterkunft war in einem tollen Hinterhof und daher sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung war sauber und ausreichend. Die Wohnung war super verkehrsgünstig und rundum gab es schöne kleine Lokale.

Alles war perfekt! Frau Meyer ist eine sehr herzliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Zimmer, Haus, Umgebung, Verkehrsanbindung- es hat alles gepasst. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank!

Dagmar ist eine sehr sympathische, flexible und um das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste bemühte Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist exakt wie beschrieben und wir hatten an allen Tagen Glück mit einem Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Man schläft super, weil die Lage mit dem Innenhof total ruhig ist.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen und bequemen Aufenthalt in der zwar kleinen, aber sehr ansprechend und auch in vielen Details praktisch eingerichteten Wohnung. Dagmar hat uns herzlich empfangen und war immer erreichbar für jede Art von Auskünften. Ein ganz besonderer Vorteil ist die Lage: Nicht nur zentral und mit U-Bahn S-Bahn und Bussen sehr gut erreichbar - es gibt auch in der Nachbarschaft gute Gaststätten mit vernünftigen Preisen. Wir hätten es nicht bessertreffen können!

Dagmar was an absolute star. Quick to respond and very welcoming, this was a great place to stay in Berlin. The room was perfect - an independent studio with private bath inside the larger apartment, there was separation of space without any inconvenience in getting the host there for check in. :-) The door to the studio locks from the inside but I don't think it locked from the ouside while I was gone for the day, but as you are inside the apartment, it was plenty secure. The room was nice and big with huge windows overlooking a quiet courtyard. The kitchen had a fridge, sink, and a microwave, as well as lots of dishes. The bathroom was small, but sufficient. There was even shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer in there for use! Bedding and towels were provided, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. All-in-all, a perfect weekend and I'll try to stay there again in the future!
