Car Rental
“Car rentals can be quite expensive, so if renting a car is not within your budget, you can easily find affordable public transportation via Taxi's and/or Colectivo's (shared rides where you hop in the back of a covered pick-up truck). Not many places rent out bikes, but you may find one available for rent on the Zicatela beach strip or possibly a motorbike. A taxi from the airport to anywhere in Puerto Escondido should be no more than $70 pesos. Once here, you can take a green cab or colectivo, both are quite inexpensive. It will cost less than $50p for taxi within Puerto, and colectivo's cost no more than $10p per person. ”
