Park
“The Yuba River is a renowned attraction, especially in the summer months. Full of great swimming holes, little beaches, beautiful boulders, and rapids, there is truly something magical about the Yuba. My favorite spot is Hoyt's Crossing. To get there park at the highway 49 crossing and walk upriver on the north side for a little more than a mile. For those not wanting the hike in, Purdon's crossing is also fantastic (and only 5-10 minutes away from Eudaimonia). Edward's Crossing is also lovely, with a greener and thickly wooded atmosphere, but it is a longer drive. Bridgeport and the 49 crossing are also nice with super-easy access, but more crowded and touristy. ”
