Bakery
“This is the best bakery in Cape Town, they sell bread to all the best cafes and restaurants. Hard to find, bring cash. Open from 5am to 1pm, 7 days a week. It's between the building supply shop and the art supply shop, go down the alleyway, take a right, up the ramp to your left, and ring the door bell. Go early if you can. Very little stock on Saturdays as they decamp to The Biscuit Mill market.”

Shopping Mall
“This is not a mall in the sense of a mall. It does however have loads of shopping spots in the building. The Bromwell is a transformed sophisticated and refined boutique mall that offers an array of limited edition and one-off pieces. Once The Bromwell Hotel, a landmark of Woodstock since 1927, now a lush destination for all things glorious. Wander from room to room to find the pick of South African and international designers. Art, sculpture, rare decor, jewellery and top end fashion and accessories awaits.”
