Glentor Estate is the perfect escape for a weekend or just to relax and chill during the week. Just 90 minutes south of Sydney or 20 minutes South of Wollongong. Set in the beautiful scenery where pristine farmland meets the edge of the mountains. In close proximity to Fitzy Roy Falls or Macquarie Pass where bushwalks & waterfalls await your exploration.
The 4 Bedrooms, Bathroom & Kitchen are located in one building and the living/dining area is in a separate building. They are connected with an outdoor undercover walkway and are close together.
  • Zack was very attentive to our needs and communicated effectively. Glentor Estate is situated in a beautiful rural area close to many attractions - Calderwood golf, Illawarra Fly, Minnamurra Rainforest etc. The accommodation was unusual with the kitchen, bathroom and sleeping located in architecturally converted silos. Very clean with some nice touches. Thanks Zack.

  • Zack's place was beautiful! Great location, would definitely stay here again !

  • A peaceful , relaxing break is insured at Zacks. The converted silo's are amazing, four circular bedrooms. 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. Walkway joins the bedrooms and lounge/ dining area. Beautiful outlook to green rolling hills, friendly cows, goats and chickens. One friendly playful dog, Lucy. Zack spoilt me with a bottle of champagne for my birthday. Breakfast is supplied, cereals, fresh eggs, fruit and yoghurt. We left feeling relaxed and renewed. We would love to go back one day.

  • Zack was an incredible host - he was very hospitable, he went above and beyond in giving us the best possible experience. It was so easy to check in with him, he gave us a tour of the place and introduced us to his dog (who was so friendly and playful), and gave us some carrots to feed the horses. Super friendly and considerate guy, very clean place too. 100% recommend this airbnb. The place was beaultiful.

    Moe2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We were a group of friends spending the day at Jamberoo and wanted to stay somewhere locally! Zack's unique place was more than we expected! He provided us with farm fresh eggs and berries and the best of the best of everything in the house that you could think off! We were blown away with all the little details that made our stay just perfect. Until next time!!

    Jason2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Zack was a very inviting host who warmly welcomed us into his place. The house was very unique, clean and had access to many amenities.

    Aisling2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Ani’s place was great! 7 of us stayed and it was very spacious. The beautiful and friendly animals is such a plus, I didn’t want to leave them. Location is great and as described (20 mins outside of Bowral). We cooked a bbq and just enjoyed the space. Spent the night playing board games and chatting. Ani is super quick with her responses and was very helpful. Highly recommend and will be returning.

    Jessica2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say! Maple Lodge is simply stunning. The grounds are gorgeous. Lovely outdoor settings. So much fun to play with the gorgeous animals also. Make sure you take time to use the pizza oven. It’s fab. Great array of bedrooms. Super fun table tennis and pool table also. Highly recommended. Hope to come again ❤️

  • This place is just amazing! It’s an adults and children’s delight with the very friendly animals and space to relax. Located in a quiet location close to Robertson village. The house itself has country charm and is perfect for a large group. Can’t wait to return!

    Charlotte2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Ani’s this weekend. Large house with comfortable beds and spacious common areas. The animals were gorgeous and the kids really enjoyed it. Pizza oven was a huge plus too! Ani was flexible with our checkin which we appreciated, arriving with infants. Great location. Minor complaint was that the house wasn’t sparkling clean, we found quite a few cobwebs and also some animal had been through the BBQ. The upstairs was also insanely hot - we were sure that it must be due to a broken central heating, however realised it was due to the type of roof. Luckily no one of us had to sleep upstairs but we found enough beds downstairs.

    Tess2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Maple Lodge is truly charming. The house is full of character and making pizza was such a highlight. Thanks to Ani for being such a responsive host.

Here is a few recommendations of local eateries to enjoy: Robertson: Moonacres : https://www.moonacres.com.au/ Moonacres comprises an organic farm, cafe and – coming soon – a cooking school and restaurant. We are committed to the ethical production of the best quality food from farm to table. They have amazing coffee, food and atmosphere. They currently are open for breakfast and Lunch and will be serving dinner from December. Robertson Inn: A heritage pub that offers a good range of food and live music on certain evenings. Uses lots of local produce and has local Southern Highlands wines and craft beers on tap, as well as the usual offerings. We recommend an easy stroll down to the pub for dinner and drinks. Robertson Hotel: Nadine’s Coffee: Good Coffee. Located in the “Green House” on the main road opposite the petrol station at the other end of the village. Roasted daily on site, winner of a number of awards including a Gold Medal at the Sydney Royal. You can also buy take home packs of coffee in full bean or ground to your requirements. Pizzas in the Mist: Excellent wood fired pizza - dine in or take away. Open Wed - Sun. Burrawang: Burrawang General Store: Open 7 days. Open 8am - 4pm. Set in a lovely vintage setting. Focused on local produce they serve excellent coffee and food. We highly recommend a visit. Burrawang Hotel: Typical pub fare in a nice setting. Bowral: The Mill: The Mill is a mix of eateries. The main cafe is open 7 days a week however the other “street food” stalls are only open Wed - Sun. It is also home to a botanist and architecture firm as well as some art. Eden Brewery: A small, handcrafted, independent brewery creating a wide range of fresh and unique beers. Some really unusual ones included! Cellar Door open Wed - Sun. Major Supermarkets: Large format Coles, Woolworths and Aldi stores bunched close together on the Southern end of the main street. Berrima: If you are after a casual coffee and stroll Berrima is a lovely little town with a small set of artisan shops. It is a relaxing place to visit with shops specializing in local made produce, leather and woolen goods, quilting, lolly shops and antiques. An excellent patisserie (Gumnut) for coffee and a little treat. For the kids the playground opposite the Marketplace lets the kids have a run around in between the shops. Bundanoon: Glow Worm Glen: Located at the end of William St in Bundanoon is a track into the Morton National Park leading to a Glow Worm Glen. To see the Glow Worms you will need to be there after dark. The walk down will take approximately 30 minutes and we suggest starting the walk down at sunset. This will provide you with enough light to see the track down but you will not have to wait long before seeing the Glow Worms. In order not to scare the Glow Worms the national park says to remain quiet on the approach as well as not shining lights at the Glen. Also it is recommended not to wear insect repellent or any strong smells. On the walk back it will be dark so take a torch to navigate the track. You may also see Wombats throughout the walk. The best viewing of the Glow Worms is Dec - Feb. Moss Vale: Bernies Diner: An American style diner serving hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. They are super friendly and it is a fun outing for kids big and small. The Farm Club: Set on a working property the farm club has an on site cafe and farm walk for kids. You will see chicken, goats, donkeys and alpacas. They also have free range pigs and cnattle. They advertise picnic hampers however we have never sourced one from them. Southern Highlands Brewing Company Kitchen and Taphouse: Open Thurs - Sun. 490-494 Argyle Street. Full range of SHBC Custom Brews available as tasting paddles or in normal glassware, extensive wine list, dining etc. I have listed a few attractions and approximate travel times below. Robertson - Robertson is know for scenic landscape and is the gateway to the state's best waterfalls ( Fitzroy Falls, Belmore Falls and Carrington Falls). The house is located within walking distance to the main Road and a quick drive to the Robertson Pie factory (5 minute drive). The house is perfectly positioned for any events in Kangaloon, Burrawang and further a field. Bowral and Mittagong - 25 min - Bowral is located approximately 1 hr from Sydney and is frequented for its cafes as well as the Bradman museum, wine trails and weddings. Kiama - 35 min - Kiama is famous for the Kiama blowhole and gorgeous beaches. It is also a perfect spot to try your hand at fishing and or spend the day doing the coastal walk. Jamberoo - 25 min - At Jamberoo you can spend the day at the Jamberoo Action park or Minnamurra rainforest, you can fly through the trees on the Illawarra Fly or simply visit the picturesque village. Wollongong - 45 min Sydney - 1hr 30 min Last Tuesday at 20:32

  • The Sassafras House is everything that is mentioned in the overview, the reviews and more. It’s clean, spacious and well equipped. There were 10 of us that stayed in this house over a weekend and not for a single second did we feel cramped. Jessica was a lovely host who provided us with all the required information leading up to our stay. She also followed up with a phone call (once we checked in) to see if everything was alright. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and not a sound was heard outside. The restaurant and convenience stores are a quick drive/walk down the road. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with your family, this is the place to stay. We highly recommend this place and will be back.

  • We stayed in Jessica’s place for our wedding with our bridal party and close friends. The place was everything that we wanted and more! Plenty of space to get ready in with desperate lounge rooms. The 2 fridges were great to be able to store our bridal flowers in one. The place was spotless and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Cloudfarm is a unique 33 acre property perched on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment with breathtaking views. A world away, yet conveniently located 7 minutes from Robertson and 25 minutes from Bowral and Moss Vale. Whether it is for a romantic get-away, or to explore the Southern Highlands natural beauty and experience local vineyards, farm produce and chic shopping, Cloudfarm is the perfect base. Immerse yourself in serene ambiance and return home refreshed and revitalised.
The Cloudpad is a self-contained studio apartment with stunning views, privately situated at the Southern end of our farmhouse. During the winter months, a slow combustion fireplace keeps the Cloudpad warm and cosy. It's a rare and deeply nurturing treat to curl up by the fire and watch the glowing embers from your bed. As we are committed to our environment, we only supply sustainably harvested firewood, so what you are burning has not been the result of the destruction of precious habitat. The space reflects our eclectic aesthetic, decorated with original artworks, hand made ceramics and posters collected from our travels. The building is mud brick, which adds to a sense of rustic ambience. It's cool in summer and stays warm for longer in winter. The space is best suited to couples, however there is a king-single bed in a small adjoining bedroom. Cloudfarm is a member of The Wildlife Lands Trust, auspiced by Humane Society International. We are also members of Wildlife Rescue South Coast.
CLOUDFARM AND OUR LOCAL AREA HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY THE RECENT BUSHFIRES. Robertson is called "The Green Heart of the Highlands" - with high rainfall and volcanic soil, it is a lush piece of Australia. This is a very beautiful area with majestic views, local waterfalls, wonderful bush walks and great natural diversity. If you aren't into the great outdoors, there are excellent local cafes and restaurants (although be prepared for much earlier closing times than in the city) Great shopping close by in chic Bowral and historic Berrima, local cool climate vineyards, beautiful gardens and a wealth of talented primary producers and makers..... In short, the Southern Highlands has something to interest every taste in every season...
  • Such a beautiful location and the place was great, had everything we needed and more! Fabulous hosts, lots of local tips, couldn't recommend enough, we'll be back!

  • A great place for a weekend getaway. The accommodation has great views of the valley. It is only a short trip to Carrington Falls and Fitzroy Falls which make a great day trip. The included breakfast is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend staying here!

  • Can't recommend The Cloud Pad highly enough. A stunning location with wonderful hosts. Enjoy a spectacular view down the valley as you sit on the verandah. Celeste & Steve are warm and engaging, with great communication and clear mission to provide their guests with an amazing experience.

  • Well, where to begin......from driving thru the newzealandish mystic valleys, via the Jumberoo mountain road up the farm built in the clouds.......etched into thy very memory. If you are a romantic, this is your echo point to get reply from the silence. The great touch of modern neo noir art (reminding of William Blake n smwhr hidden was the surreal of Salvador Dali) , the necessaries for short stay, the cozy, homely feelings of "could be my own cabin of final retreat from bloody muddy life"........all were there. My host Steve, my new companion from the Order of the Last Magus, was so decent, not-a-bit nosy intruding private space, a real gentleman and a modern mystic to discuss from to ultra-dimensionals was my full tax refund benefit. I couldnt buy it, or pay for it, the great discussion we had for only one morning.............but hey thats my thing, if you want only the space to yourself, no one will take your single second from enjoying the romantic hideout from life

    Md2020-01-27T00:00:00Z

  • Amazing little gem at Fitzroy Falls! This place has the most beautiful garden, it's so serene and peaceful you would not want to leave. We loved our studio hidden amongst this incredible Japanese garden, you can tell the host takes pride and takes good care of her garden. We thoroughly enjoyed the row boat on the lake and had a very relaxing & romantic weekend getaway. This place was picture perfect for weddings & photoshoots. Patty was super hospitable, offered a welcome cheese, crackers and wine; and even freshly baked scones! Never had such hospitable welcome from other airbnb's. The Fitzroy falls are only 5 min away and Bowral & Berrima are only few minutes drive. I would definitely recommend any couple looking for a relaxing weekend to go to either one of her 2 studios on the same property. We will definitely be coming back!

    Stéphanie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to relax, Patty was a lovely host who made check in easy and made sure we had everything we needed. Appreciated the late check out so we could soak up the garden that bit longer.

    Annalise2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place. We picked this accomodation partly for its location (it was perfect - great for accessing Bowral/Berrima or Kiama and the coast), but also as it seemed private with beautiful surrounds. The Japanese studio is very private with a great ‘private garden’; the rest of the property’s stunning gardens lie just beyond to explore. Patty was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us - plenty of tips of places to explore or eat at - even shared some of her amazing scones she’d made. Would definitely love to stay here again when we’re next back down.

    Peter2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful little stay in the most beautiful garden - stillness and peace, the sound of running water and birds is about all you will hear. Great hosts, and immaculate and comfortable accommodation is guaranteed. Particularly brilliant if you want to get away from the madding crowd and endless calls and emails. A moment of serenity...

    Donna2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful relaxing quiet space to unplug and recharge! Thoughtful homely touches that really made the stay extra special. Stunning views over the garden and a relaxing water feature just outside allowed for a refreshing nights sleep. Comfortable, clean and secluded enough without being completely remote.

    Sharon2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We were provided great hospitality and the gardens were really nice. The location also made it easy for us to drive and visit lots of different places.

The Spiral House at Cloudfarm should be on every couples "bucket list". This unique miniature home is perched on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment, in a totally private and idyllic location immersed in nature. Wake up to breathtaking views towards the escarpment and ocean; Relax in the open air bathtub, take in the night sky and twinkling lights on the coast ; go for a stroll on our 33 acre property. Relax, rejuvenate, reconnect.
The Spiral House at Cloudfarm has been designed as a luxury nature retreat for couples . The building lay dormant for many years and during 2018 has undergone a complete renovation. This miniature house has been carefully shaped, maintaining a small environmental footprint and crafted using materials that have been re-purposed or sourced locally. The space also showcases the work of your hosts, award winning artists Celeste Coucke and Stephen Fearnley. Original paintings and ceramics- such as the porcelain lamp above the dining table and the plates and bowls in the kitchen as well as the tiles in the kitchen and behind the fireplace- have been lovingly hand made at Cloudfarm Studios. The firewood that we provide for our guests is sustainably sourced from a local firewood supplier. With no TV in the space, guests have the opportunity to experience screen free time; and whilst good mobile coverage is available, guests will need to provide their own data. More About Cloudfarm… Cloudfarm covers 13.35 hectares and is situated on the highest point of the Illawarra escarpment just under 800m above sea level. Mt Murray is the core of an ancient volcano- and you are right on top of it! Basaltic soils and high rainfall support a diversity of flora and fauna. Vegetation consists predominantly of tableland basalt forest (An Ecologically Endangered Community), native grassland and temperate rainforest. Most of the property was once cleared as farmland however the protected rocky slopes are in more or less original condition, supporting a rare fragment of endangered temperate rainforest. The rainforest is now regenerating and covers approximately one third of the property, with two thirds mostly native grassland. A magnificent stand of Eucalyptus fastigata crowns the top of the mountain, a remnant of endangered tableland basalt forest. Cloudfarm also forms part of an important wildlife corridor between the Macquarie Pass National Park and Sydney water catchment. We are currently taking part in the “Thin Green Line Project”. The “Thin Green Line” is a corridor which links native vegetation and wildlife between Victoria and Queensland. Cloudfarm is located at a particularly important part of this corridor, as it is east of Robertson that the line is thinnest. Native animals and vegetation are particularly vulnerable here, as a result of the activities of humans and feral animals. Wildlife: We have lots, all generally shy and nocturnal. Your nearest neighbours are wombats- there's a big active wombat burrow right next to Spiral House! Cloudfarm is a member of the Wildlife Lands Trust and we are also members of Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Cloudfarm is home to rescued wombats. We have left a torch in the kitchen if you want to go night walking. Please note: all our wildlife- including the rehabilitated wombats- are wild. If you spot a wombat, watch it from a respectful distance. • My husband and I had a lovely couple of days at Spiral House! It's in a great location, very thoughtfully furnished and the view is amazing. So great to be able to sit outside in the bathtub on the deck to take it in! The house has everything you need for relaxing getaway and the items in the fridge for breakfast were a lovely addition. We loved passing by Bessie and Sassie the pet cows on our way in and out each day. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back for another stay in the future.

  • A beautiful romantic get away for a couple. Perfect for a weekend away to focus on loving and spending time with a loved one, Spiral House is made with many wonderful touches. It sits nestled on Mount Murray away from anything else but still a short drive to Robertson.

  • One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Such a stunning getaway from everything. You feel like you’re in your own little world in this place. During the day you can drive to Belmore falls or Carrington falls (waterfalls) or nellies glen which is a natural stunning swim spot. Having a glass of wine in the tub at sunset topped it all off. Absolutely loved it. We will be back!

Private, tranquil, romantic and set in a contemporary country cottage.
The Gardeners Cottage was, as the name implies, especially built for the gardener residing on this beautiful rural estate. We think you will enjoy the romance of the cottage and its beautiful setting and hopefully go home with a fresh new take on life too! The Gardeners Cottage is privately situated at the end of a country lane, just 5 km from Burrawang village. Follow the signs along a hedge-lined driveway to find the cottage nestled behind with stunning views from the sunny front porch through the paddocks to the escarpment. Wander around the property at dusk for magnificent sunset views, or venture to nearby Fitzroy Falls for many bush walks. The cottage is exceptionally well presented, is thermally efficient and has lots of character. It is well insulated with polished concrete floors that are cool in summer and retain heat in winter. Tank water, an environmental waste system, and low energy appliances all contribute to this property's green credentials. The decor is fun and stylish, including some handmade features such as light shades made from fencing wire from the property. Use of natural products and recycled wood also enhance the ambiance. Instead of electric blankets, internet and a dishwasher you will find cosy hot water bottles, a wood heater, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, TV with DVD, tranquil spots to sit and walk on the property, a hammock to relax under the trees and free ranging chickens who will oblige with fresh eggs when available. The Gardener’s Cottage is an adult’s only property, we cannot accept bookings with babies or children. We also do not accept pets. This is a working farm, with cattle in surrounding paddocks and unfenced water hazards. The cottage also has an exposed steel firebox in the living area which poses a significant danger to babies and children. The Gardeners Cottage is the perfect property for a romantic getaway for 2. Bedroom configuration: • 1 Queen bedroom • Main bathroom with full laundry
  • A beautifully secluded spot in the middle of some stunning countryside near the Kangaroo Valley. It was just cold enough to get the fire going, but we had some great long walks as well. A well stocked kitchen and a perfect spot for reading and relaxing.

  • We loved our girls weekend at the Folly. Very clean cottage with comfy beds, a gorgeous outlook with private garden and everything you could need including Netflix... Situated just off the Main Street of beautiful Burrawang you’d have no reason to leave the town. Margaret and Bob helped us to light the fire when the highlands turned cold and wet unexpectedly. A lovely stay and recommended.

  • In one word - perfection. We had the most amazing stay in Margaret's place. The cottage is impeccably clean and stylish, with every thoughtful touch you could possibly need. The town of Burrawang is perfect for a quiet getaway, with a wonderful pub and cafe just a minute's walk away. Margaret is a fabulous host - I would give her 6 stars if I could. I can't recommend The Folly enough. Thank you Margaret!

  • The Folly is a beautiful sanctuary in the middle of picturesque Burrawang. Margaret, our host, struck the perfect balance between being informative and welcoming at the beginning but then was very discrete for the rest of our stay. The Folly is beautifully appointed and everything is absolutely sparkling clean. The beds were really comfortable and the 2 ensuites were a winner! Margaret’s added touches in greeting us with freshly cooked muffins and providing milk, butter, fruit and cereal were very much appreciated. I highly recommend The Folly and will definitely be back.

  • Carla and Paul have a wonderful property that they have kindly shared with their guests. The accomodation is beautiful and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. It was a great location for discovering the southern highlands and minutes from the beautiful Fitzroy Falls. Attended a wedding at Mali Brae and was within minutes drive of our accomodation. So many little extra touches which made it so easy to just sit and have a cuppa the minute we arrived! We had warm and sunny as well as cold and rain and loved it all! The accomodation is beautiful and enjoyable in all weather conditions. We loved the fire place! I can’t thank Carla and Paul enough for their hospitality! Our family had a wonderful time with lasting memories and excited to visit again in the future. Highly Recommend!

  • Our family enjoyed all the wonderful hospitality traits from Carla & Paul. Our ‘entitled ‘ daughters were thrilled with all the little extras and the comfort & cleanliness of their home is an A+ We were attending a wedding in the area and I had not planned for cooler weather . No problem, Carla produced a selection of little jackets to choose from.... just like that. So grateful Carla, thanks.

  • I highly recommend staying at Carla's place. It's very inviting and peaceful such a great place where you can relax with nature surrounding you. Close to things to do and beautiful scenery as soon as you step outside. We took our 1.5 year old daughter with us who loved the chickens and donkeys. Carla is such a lovely welcoming person who goes above and beyond during your stay. The place is homely, cleans me tidy and the bed was just amazingly comfortable!!!

  • Surrounded by lush landscape on a gloriously wet weekend, Carla's place was a cosy, comfortable and relaxing base for 3 girlfriends attending a wedding. She's thought of everything you may need - the coffee machine and light breakfast provided was great! A fantastic host, Carla even helped with a with a lift when our own transport fell through. Country hospitality at it's finest!

We arrived on a particularly cold evening and Gail had set up the wood heater for us with some firewood. Beautiful scenery and king parrots came to visit us each day at the front door. Highly recommend Daisy Cottage!

  • Daisy Cottage is an absolutely charming property with loads of character. The open fire was wondrous and added to a very relaxing stay, the alpacas were delightful, breakfast was lovely and fresh and the surrounding environment was not only beautiful but very peaceful. Gail also shared some useful local intel to help us enjoy the surrounding region.

The cottage was extremely cosy with the wood-burning stove and felt like a real home away from home. Comfy couches, and a warm snuggly bed to sink into. Gail has really thought of everything you could ever need. A very well stocked fridge and cupboard for all our breakfast needs, and great cooking facilities. Only a 4 min drive to the quaint village of Burrawang and surrounded by green rolling hills.

Robertson (10 mins away) has numerous eateries...The Robbo Pub, the Thai @ the Robbo Bowlo, Cafe Piroutte, Pizzas in the Mist and one of the best bakeries in the Highlands! The green grocer is extraordinary with not only fresh healthy fruit & veg but a variety of pastas and Cyprian produce. • Perfect little spot for a romantic getaway for a night or two. Very close to Burrawang (great pub there) and Robertson. Tina was a warm and gracious host. Great communication and welcome and a fridge full of little goodies as well as breakfast (toast, cereal). There is no kitchen but there is a microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger etc. Pretty much exactly as described. Nestled in amongst the trees in a very picturesque setting. Sleeps two in great comfort. Very quiet, we got a great nights sleep. Bathroom facilities clean and well set up. Despite being a hot day it was comfortable with ceiling fan and high ceilings. We’ll be back for another weekend escape!

    Garner2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time at the Humpy because once you stay at Tina and Nicky's once you just have to come back. Have a look at my first review for Australia Day weekend for a detailed review. We were the first guests and had some constructive feedback to make the experience even more perfect and were very pleased to see that they were all taken on board and put into place. Do yourselves a favour and stay at the Humpy next time you're in the Southern Highlands. You won't regret it!

    Yvonne2019-12-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gorgeous little cottage which is very cozy and romantic. There’s no kitchen but lots of great food options nearby. A lovely spot!

  • Great location, central to many iff the southern highlands landmark sites. Extremely hospitable hosts and charming cabin with a postcard setting

    Malcolm2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Upon arrival, expect to feel an automatic destress from the chaos of urban living. This place will nourish your soul and remind you of how beautiful this land of Australia truly is.

    Alexander2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at The Humpy was a dream. A cosy and secluded getaway, the place was just what we needed to escape the rat race. We were left wanting for nothing and would highly recommend Tina and Nicky’s shack for anyone looking to enjoy the Southern Highlands. A great weekend.

    Andrew2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Tina and Nicky were lovely hosts with an inspiring story to share. The Humpy that they built themselves is a perfect weekend getaway: close enough from things but also far enough away for the perfect experience.

Private, self-contained cottage set amongst green pastures, rolling hills and bushland - A great rural getaway. Close to national parks, waterfalls and lookouts with coastal views. The delightful country village of Robertson is a short drive away.
This modern self-contained cottage is the product of renovating the farm's defunct dairy.
  • Well equipped, beautiful space with lovely homey touches. Great communication with Host, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • We had a great stay at Brendhan’s place and he was very accommodating. The space is immaculate, modern and light with beautiful views across farmland. We enjoyed the information about local history and would recommend this place!

    Anna2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully renovated little place, very private, well stocked with kitchen appliances and cooking utensils, and lovely space looking out over the fields. Had a great time and Brendhan was great to communicate with.

    Yan2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect relaxing retreat. Even though it's close to a road, there's hardly any cars in the evening and throughout the night. It was very quiet. It was nostalgic to unexpectedly find Canadian monopoly! It was a great touch as we're both from Canada. There was also so many unexpected cooking tools, many more than I've found at other Airbnbs. Also nice that there was a washer and drying machine for our wet clothes from the day!

    Gabrielle2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cost spot with great farm views. Close to Robertson and we were lucky with recent rain the local waterfalls were really kicking!

  • From the minute we arrived we knew we made the right choice. Ed was there to greet us and made us feel welcome from the start. The room was gorgeous with lots of lovely finishing touches, warm and loads of natural light. We enjoyed a cuppa sitting outside enjoying the sunshine and spectacular views. Breakfast provided was a nice touch. Pub up the road for dinner was very handy and food was delish. No noise can be heard from the pub when at the apartment. Wild Ducks is a short drive from anywhere in the area. If you are looking for a nice quiet weekend away in beautiful surroundings, then this is the place to book. Thank you Ed and Julie for allowing us to stay in your apartment. We will definately be back!

    Paola2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Such a gorgeous place to get away and unwind from busy city life, hosts are so welcoming and friendly and the views are to die for. Loved our short stay

    Noreen2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place! Very clean and comfortable. Lovely continental breakfast supplied with muesli, fresh fruit & yoghurt in a glass, a few of slices of both fruit loaf and sour dough that we enjoyed with fresh jam, and also some fresh fruit. Coffee, tea, etc. All bathroom necessities available, extra linen if needed and heating, modern shower and the Japanese bath a lovely addition. Nice view to take in and enjoy on a little table outside. The pub right next door - not that you could hear it - and a general store across road for brunch, lunch, coffee cakes etc. Easy 15/20mins drive to Bowral. Excellent communication and very easy check in. Parking out front of your door. Loved it, hope to be back. Thank you!

    Nini2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wild Duck's was a great place to stay. It is very peaceful with a beautiful view. Loved the spa bath! The breakfast basket on the first day was a special touch and so delicious. I would definitely return! x

  • Ed and Julie’s place was one of the best air bnb’s we have stayed. The room was exactly as pictured even better. The Japanese Spa Bath was a nice touch and so relaxing. We highly recommend wild ducks if travelling down south.

    Melissa2019-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I loved our stay at Wild Ducks! The room is spacious and lovely, and the soaking tub was super relaxing. The bed was positioned to see the view out the patio doors, which is much nicer than even what's shown in the photos. The bathroom was large and had lots of counter space and a nice shower with good water pressure. Air conditioning worked well and kept us cool at night (it was quite hot while we were there in December). The breakfast provided was generous -- fruit, yogurt with granola, juice, bread and jam -- and while we were eating out on the patio, we saw a whole family of kangaroos in the woods beyond the property! There was also a house dog that came to visit who was very cute. Ed and Julie are friendly, accommodating hosts -- we arrived on the later side (about 8:30 pm) and found all the nearby restaurants closed, and Ed called around to see if he could find us a place to eat and offered to prepare us a cheese and fruit plate if we couldn't find anything! The area is quite rural, so if you are arriving late, don't plan on things being open. But it's so beautiful and totally worth it!

    Jennifer2018-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Ed the host’s property is truly remarkable. If you are looking to get away from everything & everyone. This is the place to go! Beautiful countryside to assist.

  • My Husband and I had a lovely weekend retreat at the Bake House. It was beautifully furnished, in a great location for exploring the Southern Highlands and we enjoyed meeting Alison and her little Cavoodle Harry. Alison had thoughtfully provided continental breakfast supplies and lots of little touches to make us feel welcome. Would definitely stay there again!

    Leanne2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful! I would like to highly recommend Alison's place and her hospitality. This is one of those listings that is even more beautiful than the pictures. I enjoyed the pretty garden, comfort of the bed and peaceful location.

  • The Bake House is a beautiful space in a stunning little village. Alison went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay - with thoughtful breakfast supplies, and kind and clear communication. Getting to meet the gorgeous cavoodle Harry was the cherry on top.

  • We had a lovely stay at the Bakehouse. The property was just as the photos showed and the provisions Allison provided us were great for breakfast out on the patio. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We would recommend anyone stay at Allison’s place in beautiful Burrawang - it was an excellent base to explore the surrounding Highlands!

  • A magical stay in a comfortable, stylish, renovated and well appointed historical Bakery building. It is surrounded by a well loved garden and has a covered outdoor sitting area with bbq. A great spot for a glass of wine in the evening - watching an abundance of bird life. It is located in a lovely little village with a great pub, amazing cafe and a well known local butcher. We found lots of nearby villages with great food, shopping and vintage stores. The property is 10 minutes to Robertson with a great pub, the fabulous Moonacres cafe and an excellent grocery store. Other towns to visit is Bowral and Moss Vale - loved the vintage, gift and homeware stores! The owner Alison was quick to respond and did everything to make our stay perfect. She goes the extra mile to make you comfortable. She leaves wonderful breakfast provisions - baked goods, wine, jam etc. It was lovely meeting her and her adorable small dog, Harry. Thank you, we will definitely return.

  • The Bakehouse was a wonderfully restored and delightfully serene experience for our anniversary weekend in the Highlands. It was full of thoughtful little touches and in a fantastic location. Damien2019-11-03T00:00:00Z

  • Such a perfect place! I got ready for my wedding there and it was an excellent layout, excellent decor, and great natural light in the living room. Comfortable living areas were perfect for a relaxing weekend!

    Sara2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Mumble Cottage is a delightful cottage, with a spacious yard, located in a historic southern highland village. As seven adults sharing the house for three nights, we appreciated the well-equipped and easy-to-move-around kitchen, the light-filled rooms and that there were several different spaces to go to for a chat, read or chill. Two bedrooms are roomy with ample hanging facilities; the other two bedrooms are quite tight and lack hanging facilities. The extra touches were welcome eg quality kitchen appliances; some basic kitchen and bathrooms provisions; throw rugs for warmth; and wifi. Proximity to the general store (ie cafe) and pub was a bonus.

    Atosha2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is beautifully furnished in a lovely location, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend break and spotlessly clean. I just loved the place

The Tor is an older style, classic Southern Highlands cottage. It is set on 25 peaceful acres, surrounded by seasonal gardens with many secret pockets! The house has been decorated in a period style, and is full of character, comfort and style - true to the photos. Beautiful Burrawang Village, Belmore Falls and Fitzroy Falls are all easy drives from The Tor - making it a great base from which to explore this beautiful district of NSW! Where will I be? The Tor is located on the Southern Side of Burrawang, in a very pretty rural community - dominated by working potato farms and private weekenders.  The property is very well located vis a vis two famous waterfalls in the area: Belmore Falls and Fitzroy Falls.  Burrawang and Robertson are also very close by.  Burrawang has a lovley country pub, great cafes, a traditional butcher, gentrified general store and the famous Easter Saturday markets! Indicative distances are:2.5 km to Burrawang General Store, 8km to Robertson, 9 km to Fitzroy Falls, 17km to Moss Vale, 20 km to Bowral, 25 km to Kangaroo Valley, 125 km to Sydney. Please also scroll down to see the exact location of The Tor on Google Maps. Why choose The Tor? A visit to the Southern Highlands is all about experiencing beautiful countryside, sitting around a cosy fireplace, driving through working farms, and if you are lucky, staying in an older style, traditional home.  The Tor is an original, timber cottage, with lovely gardens and wrap around verandahs.  It offers therefore a somewhat quintessential Southern Highlands experience! How is the property laid out? The house is all on one level.  You enter via a small glass conservatory, into the dining area and kitchen - both in a classic, traditional style.  The house then has an internal laundry, three bedrooms, a traditional lounge room and one shared bathroom.  All three bedrooms open onto the wrap around verandah. What about outdoors? The Tor is set amongst lawns and extensive gardens - an ongoing project of love by the current owner.  Guests will however mostly only use the lawn areas and the immediately adjacent gardens.  For the more adventurous, there are plenty of nooks, hidden gardens and the like to see and explore...but please take care on the property, especially with young children. Keeping warm or keeping cool?! During the cooler months and winter, the house has a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area, an open fire place in the lounge,  column heaters throughout and electric blankets on the beds.  In the warmer months, the house can be opened up to catch any available breeze, or the reverse cycle air conditioner can be used for cooling. What about sheets, towels and other supplies? High quality sheets and towels are provided at The Tor. Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Regarding food, condiments and the like, please plan to bring everything you need. For safety and hygiene reasons, our houses generally do not supply food items. Parking for cars, boats etc? There is ample off street parking for 2 - 3 vehicles.  Please park on the gravel, not the lawns, thanks. Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? Yes, your favourite pet is welcome to stay at The Tor, and please note the following: - the yard is not fully fenced - please keep your pets off all furniture and beds - please clean up behind your pet Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it? This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay.
  • Loved the visit here to what is a stunning property. Huge rambling garden, comfortable old world house which featured lovely Christmas decorations when we stayed. Great location near wonderful Burrawang and Roberston, short drives to Moss Vale or Bowral. Property needs TLC inside and out in places, but that is part of its charm. Internet would be good, but Telstra mobile reception just ok.

  • To put it simply, we didn’t want to leave! What a gorgeous property, it definitely exceeded our expectations. Firstly the gardens were stunning, we loved exploring all the different little pockets of the yard. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, we enjoyed a big homemade meal with friends and had everything we could need and more. The fireplace was lovely to sit around with some wine and relax. Considering we visited during winter, we couldn’t have been more warm and comfortable with the heating and electric blankets provided. The space fit all 6 of us perfect. We are already planning on returning!

    Alana2019-07-21T00:00:00Z

  • Our group of 6 people had a wonderful long weekend stay at The Tor. The house is a very cute country cottage with a gorgeous open fireplace that we loved sitting around in the evening having a glass of local wine. This room can be heated by the open fireplace (which will be set up for you on your arrival), or if you are feeling a bit lazy or impatient just press a button and the reverse cycle air conditioning will heat the room quickly. The cottage has an outside wooden deck area. The deck is design to capture the spectacular views from the cottage which overlook the larger property’s dam and windmill, the adjoining grazing properties and the green rolling hills of Burrawang in the distance. You can decide to just sit and take in the view and the rays of sun offered by its northern aspect, or alternatively cook a barbecue and dine on the deck at the outside dining setting. To make your stay as comfortable as possible we have provided top of the range bedding, linen, towels and bathroom products. We will also provide you with a breakfast basket each morning of your stay comprising delicious local produce, coffee and an array of teas and essential condiments. We operate a model of seeking to source as much as possible from nature from the broader property, so certain produce supplied will be grown on the property, the firewood is sourced exclusively from the property and of course the water is supplied by Mother Nature from the cottage itself. In short, the cottage has everything you desire to have an amazing rural experience but if you find there is something missing we are just a phone call away as we live on the broader estate. The Cottage Surrounds Somerleyton cottage forms part of a larger 150 acre cattle farm called Blanket Farm. The genesis for the name of the property was based on an amazing estate in New Zealand's South Island called Blanket Bay. The design of the main house incorporates certain features from this amazing property notably including the use of old recycled timber and grey schist stone sourced from Central Otago. The remainder of the red basalt stone used for retaining walls was sourced from the property itself. Blanket Farm is set in the rolling hills of Wildes Meadow and overlooks the adjoining areas of Burrawang and Fitzroy Falls. In fact the property itself adjoins the Fitzroy Falls lake and has the Wildes Meadow creek running through it which flows into Fitzroy Falls and forms part of Sydneys drinking water. How this all comes together is a story in itself which you may wish to read about in front of the open fire in the Cottage Guest Book. The broader property is available to all guests to explore. In fact you may wish to have a picnic on the banks of the dam under the windmill or walk across the bridge over the creek or even sight an eagles nest high up in the 100+ year old trees which are a feature of the property. Just ask and we can point you in the right direction so you can explore yourself - just remember to close the gates behind you as the farm is an operating cattle farm and has an array of cattle in certain paddocks (which you can avoid if that doesn’t take your fancy) for you to view ranging from small cute calves to a mature breeding bull. The farm is approx. 4mins drive (or 45 min walk) to Burrawang with its historic pub, cafe and butcher or 7min drive to Robertson with its vibrant antique stores, cafes and of course pub.The more established Highlands towns of Moss Vale and Bowral are also only 20 mins away. If you are into bush walking, there are some of the finest walks available in NSW minutes from the property. Just let us know what takes your fancy and we can recommend, dining options, wine tasting, walks, jogging tracks or just places to visit. A bit about your Hosts As you may have gathered by now Angela was born in the UK and spent her time between London, Cornwall and Somerleyton before migrating to Australia about 35 years ago. Mark was born and lived in Sydney until they made a decision to move to the Highlands from Woollahra in Sydney’s eastern suburbs about 12 years ago and haven’t looked back. They bought what is now Blanket Farm as a vacant block of land about 4 years ago and embarked on the journey of building what it is today. They hope you love your stay as much as they enjoying living there. One tip, get up early one morning during your stay and take in the fog in the low lying land or go for a walk. It is invigorating.
Things to do : A list of things to do both on and off the property is set out in the Guest book located on the coffee table in front of the fireplace.
  • Somerleyton Cottage was a fantastic home away from home The location in the Southern Highlands was close to all we wanted to visit & close to some wonderful little villages we hadn’t anticipated A great week!

  • Our stay at Somerleyton Cottage was heaven. As you drive up to the property the cottage is perched on a hill, with stunning views. The drive way to the cottage is lined with big beautiful trees that makes you feel as though you’re in a movie! The cottage is beautifully styled, with all the amenities that you would need. There are so many gorgeous little touches throughout the cottage, like fresh eggs, bread, bacon etc. We absolutely loved our stage at Somerleyton Cottage and highly recommend it for anyone considering

  • Our stay there was great! There was some issue with the water but to be honest these things happen sometimes and it didn't really impact our stay there - Angela and Mark even offered a refund for one of the days we stayed there. The location is superb! Highly recommended

Lothlorien is a 100 acre property in Wildes Meadow that formerly operated as a dairy farm and now runs around 50 head of Angus cattle. The four-bedroom former workers' quarters was tastefully renovated and refurbished throughout in 2014.
The former workers' quarters at Lothlorien was completely renovated and refurbished in 2014 and features four spacious bedrooms, two rooms with queen beds and two with a pair of singles in each (all linen supplied). Of the two queen bedrooms, one opens up directly onto the back deck with views over one of the property's sprawling paddocks, while the other features a brand new ensuite with his and hers wash basins and a free-standing bath. The ample kitchen features Smeg appliances, quality cooking implements and a huge double-door fridge for keeping all your wine chilled and your produce fresh. It really is a foodie's dream. An enormous leather L-shaped sofa is the perfect place to relax in front of the wood fire (or the television, if you must) in the spacious lounge area, which opens up onto a wrap-around deck with a barbecue, large outdoor dining table and views over the rolling pastures. The property has central heating throughout and there's also an external laundry with Miele washing machine and dryer. Lothlorien's beautiful grounds feature an extensive water garden with two main dams that are stocked with silver perch and bass that guests are welcome to fish . Wildlife lovers will enjoy a morning stroll around the sprawling grounds with sightings of Crimson Rosellas, King Parrots, Eastern Spinebills, Satin Bowerbirds, Gang-gang Cockatoos, Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, Superb Fairy-wrens, Red Browed Finches, Eastern Whipbirds, Tawny Frogmouths and many other species not uncommon. If you're up early enough you may even encounter a friendly wombat or two. There's also a well-maintained herb/vegetable garden just metres from the front door where you can pick fresh mint for your mojitos and all the rosemary you need for your lamb roast (there's also a potato farm across the road that sells bags of the world's best spuds). Lothlorien really is the perfect retreat for families, foodies and couples looking for a romantic weekend away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Wildes Meadow is a quiet country area and the locals are incredibly friendly. The nearby Burrawang village is home to a fantastic little pub and a quaint restaurant/cafe to address your caffeine withdrawals. Other local highlights include Kangaroo Valley, Fitzroy Falls, Belmore Falls, the pie shop and cheese factory at Robertson (and the big potato, of course) and the villages of Moss Vale and Bowral. It should also be noted that the potato farm across the road from Lothlorien sells bags of the best potatoes ever pulled from the soil.

The Twin Oaks cottage is the original home on Twin Oaks farm - accommodation comprising two-bedrooms and 1-bathroom in Fitzroy Falls, Southern Highlands, NSW - just 2 hours from Sydney and 1.5 hours from Canberra. Stay two nights or enjoy the week.
The cottage is situated on our family farm. We live on the farm. The cottage is in our house yard adjacent to the main house. We will occasionally pass by the cottage on our way to the sheds but mostly we won’t interact if you chose it that way.
  • Really great space, kids loved the horses. Really easy drive into moss vale. House was very clean and comfortable

  • Amazing place and amazing host. We stayed at Kate's place over a long weekend with our 4 year old daughter. The place is situated about 1.5kms off the main road. Beautiful scenery, very quiet and peaceful. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a little piece of heaven. Kate and her family were super friendly and amazing hosts. Loved the little extra touches (like welcome note, champagne, carrots to feed the horses). Our daughter absolutely loved the cubby house, feeding the horses, playing with Milo the friendly labrador. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen is well equiped. There is bbq to enjoy aussie living. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Can't recommend Kate's place enough. Hope we can visit again soon. Thank you Kate, Paul and the boys!

    Anna2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Kate was a lovely, responsive host! The little house is super cosy, fresh feeling and suited very well for 4 adults and a big dog just fine. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

  • I highly recommend Twin Oaks. It is a lovely little house in a beautiful setting. My 7yo daughter loved feeding the farm animals and playing in the cubby house and on the swings. Our dog loved playing with the placid and friendly Labrador, Milo. My wife and I loved playing hit and giggle on the tennis court. What a relaxing and fun weekend away.

  • Fantastic family weekend away! Our little girls had the best time such a great place for kids and beautiful special touches in the cottage. Girls absolutely loved going and feeding to sheep and grabbing fresh eggs from the chickens and giving carrots to the horses. So many great kids toys and and cubby house was a great hit! I highly recommend Kate’s place absolute bliss.

    Lauren2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Generous hosts, beautiful location

    Anna2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • What a great find. My kids loved their time on ‘the farm’. They had a great time in the cubby house, with the outdoor toys and the blocks and train track inside too. A baby bath, cot and high chair were available on request which saved us bringing ours from home. The kitchen had all that we needed plus coffee, fresh eggs and condiments. The host, Kate, was quick to reply and very welcoming and accommodating. My toddler had a great time looking at the farm animals.

While 'house' might be a stretch for this studio-style room, it does have separate facilities. There's a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle, sandwich press, cafe pod machine, crockery, glassware and cutlery. And a washer/dryer; shower and vanity. It's got double French doors; a secure, connecting garage for your car, and very comfortable furniture. Linen and towels are provided. A pocket WiFi device with limited data is available for your use during your stay.
There are three entrances to The Little House. Two access the courtyard (no steps but a small rise, suitable for wheelchair ramps). The third is through your garage, with access to your getaway space up one step beyond your car. The Little House is a studio, attached to the main house double garage. The main space contains a king size bed, an excellent double-sofa-bed (suitable for small children or one adult), wardrobe, ottoman/coffee table, small dining table/chairs and tv unit. Through the sliding door, the shared space houses a functional kitchenette, fridge, washing machine and shower. The toilet is in its own room, adjacent to the shower. It's a quirky set up but it's very functional. The Little House is really built for two, but we have the sofa bed in case you need it. That's charged at an extra $20 per night.
The address might sound noisy. Not so. The newer M31 gazumped the Illawarra Highway as the preferred method to better connect regional areas with cities, and vice versa. And it took the highway's traffic with it. Besides, The Big House is at the back of the property and around 60 metres from the front gates. Can be eerily quiet.
  • We had a great weekend stay at Kathryn's and Bernie's place. A really relaxed setting and very, very comfortable (fantastic king size bed!) Bernie was a great host and even offered us some fresh eggs from the chooks in the garden that we cooked ourselves for breakfast both mornings. We hope to stay again in the future.

The place was clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. Bernie went above and beyond and was happy with a late check-out option and posted my book which I accidentally left behind. I would strongly recommend this place to stay and would come back again. Thank you again Bernie!

  • Hello, I am writing this review before we actually stayed at this place. There was torrential rain in the weekend we were supposed to come and even driving there would have been difficult and dangerous. But Allison was extremely understanding, and allowed us to delay our stay with 3 weeks. She was by no means required to do so. So we are extremely grateful for this. In our opinion she is an amazing host already, and we cannot wait to our stay at her home which according to the other reviews is amazing and to meet with these lovely people!

Hidden away on a 240 acre working property, at the end of a lane, experience the unique accommodation and setting. Four charming hand crafted wooden huts (a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a cosy loft hut) provide an idyllic place for you to unwind and rejuvenate. The whole area is yours with no-one else nearby.
The charming kitchen, bedroom and bathroom huts are connected via a winding wooden path. Of course, when it is wet you will need to use an umbrella, although it is only a few steps between each space and this is all part of the magical experience. Fairy lights line the path between the huts and there are lights shining up into some of the surrounding trees. Just a few steps away from the three main huts is the loft hut where you can cosy up on the large sofa and watch a movie or just enjoy the view over a game of cards. While there is no satellite connection or wifi, a TV with a range of movies and TV shows on a harddrive is provided. The eco toilet is in a separate hut just near the bedroom. You are welcome to explore the farm and enjoy the magnificent views in all directions. Take a picnic to the trig paddock (the second highest point in the Southern Highlands) and enjoy the the views across to the sea in one direction and the green, rolling hills in the other. In the evening relax on the verandah or the trig, or any of the other paddocks, while watching the sun set over the reservoir.
  • Great place for weekend getaway!

  • Wow!!! This place is amazing. Impeccably clean with beautiful touches, each hut was so much fun to explore. We just couldn’t decide which hut to spend the most time in, so we took turns of all of them. Such a good feel. Great communication from the host. We will be returning, but this time for more than one night!

  • Patty's house is amazing, she has the most stunning backyard and close to local shops. My partner and I had such a good time, despite the crazy 40 degree heat, Patty made sure we had access to lots of fans. It's perfect for a weekend getaway for a friend or partner!

    Claire2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Patty's place is wonderful. The setting is amazing. We loved having some wine on a late afternoon row on her private lake. Lots of lovely places to sit and have a coffee too. The dairy is very clean and well set up - the food in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated. Patty was very friendly and amazingly hospitable. She made sure we had everything we needed (and adding some lovely extras) without intruding on our time or space. We cannot wait to come back!

The gardens and property are incredible and we loved going on the lake in the rowboat. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting. We already wish we were back there. • Amazing place & amazing hosts. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast items that they provided. The place has a nice backyard that would be great for having dinner under the stars. Luke & Jenny are also very kind. Luke checked on us when we arrive to ensure that everything is fine. The egg that they provided was so tasty. We ate it with some bacon from a grocery store down the road. Overall, I’ll definitely stay at this place again if I’m visiting Kiama and/or Bowral.

    Nadhia2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny and Luke's cottage was a charming and comfy resting place for our family. We wished we had more time to explore Robertson, but we enjoyed visiting the nearby rainforest and Fitzroy Falls. Jenny and Luke provided everything guests might need for breakfast--bread, butter, fresh eggs from their chickens, jam, coffee and tea. What we appreciated most was meeting and chatting with our hosts. They are a lovely, warm, and interesting couple, and we would have loved to stay and talk more if we had the time. Jenny was very responsive and welcoming in our communications, both before and after our stay. Thank you, Jenny and Luke!
